This is an issue that shouldn't have existed to begin with, but most definitely should've been put as a priority over other things. Gearbox, when do you plan on fixing such a preventable bug? | BL3 running horrible on base PS4 Posted: 01 Jan 2020 01:05 PM PST Haven't really seen much people comment on this but man, I've had the game since launch and it's still completely unplayable on my base PS4. The frames are just god awful and everything runs so choppy. Does anyone have any tips to help it run smoother? Been dying to play but not with how it looks at the moment. Does gearbox have any plans on making it run smoother on older consoles or did they prioritize this game for Pro/X/PC users? [link] [comments] |

| Frustration is the name of the game tonight Posted: 01 Jan 2020 09:15 PM PST My son asked me to run the Maliwan Takedown with him because there is a boss drop he wants. Fire up the game on my Xbox, accept his invite and proceed to wait for matchmaking. About a half hour later we still didn't have any matches so I impatiently start the run with just the two of us. We end up doing surprisingly well. Without much effort we manage to get through just about everything. Drop into the final boss arena, cut scene starts, and then abruptly stops... Loading screen? What the hell? Oh shit, matchmaking was running. The game finally found another player. Instead of dropping them into our game, however, it yanks us back to the beginning for their game. And cherry on the top, this player doesn't even have the quest. Just finished the campaign and went straight to matchmaking. Son comes into the living room and says, "I'm done with Borderlands for tonight." Yep, me too. TL;DR - Two player group starts matchmaking for a Maliwan Takedown run. Start run after waiting 30 minutes with no matches. Get to final boss only to have matchmaking kick in and pull us into another players game. That player doesn't even have the quest. | Moze....isn't as bad as ppl say on mayhem 4 Posted: 01 Jan 2020 06:13 PM PST Been soloing everything outside of the raid so far and have had little to no issues after doing a slight Respec into a little bit more of the bottomless mags tree to get ammo Regen since the old full splash and shield build got nerfed 27383727x It seems using laser weapons is the move as they constantly Regen ammo and allow stacking elemental damage buffs As of now using: -DP lasersploders (fire and corrosive depending on what region I'm in) -Ion laser that has cryo and fiya -Ion cannon (farmed 3 diff x2 variants, one a souped up corrosive type with a near 600 weapon score, one with a raw 22k x2 and another with the +150% damage vs badasses and bosses) -AAA with x2 damage for shields It seems the bloodletter mod is still a must to keep shields high and I still use my deathless artifact but have changed my grenade mod to a mirv exploder that splits into 3 and has bonus splash damage range with annointment to output +25% damage on guns and action skill after grenade throws for 6 seconds. With it being electric also I will sometimes throw it at myself to top off transformer and also buff guns...so far no issues and rarely go down [link] [comments] |

| Why is BL3 matchmaking so bad? Posted: 01 Jan 2020 02:21 AM PST I've typed this out three times pretty salty, so I'm not going to do that this time, I just want to know if I'm alone in my frustration waiting almost 30 minutes + for a takedown game. Is Borderlands 3 just not doing well that it struggles to find 4 people looking to play similar content? What was so wrong about the game browser in BL2 where you looked at a list of games and jumped right in to one that looked right? Edit: okay now for some salt: I finally get a match for Maliwan Takedown, and the game shuts off my Xbox because that's still a bug that hasn't been fixed. Gearbox I just want to play your game! | BL3: Mayhem 4/ Takedown at Maliwan Advice needed Posted: 01 Jan 2020 11:19 AM PST Finished my run on TVHM on Mayhem 3 and farmed bosses quite a bit (mainly captain traunt and katogawa jr) now decided to test mayhem 4 and takedown at maliwan, but i literally couldn't even get passed the first area. I got demolished and BARELY did any damage with weapons that did quite well in mayhem 3 against bosses (Rowans Call, 526 score, 692 damage,.. Extended Nemesis 561 score, 556 damage + 250% extra damage after phasecast etc...) All seemed extremely useless, even against bosses. How am i supposed to get suitable gear/ weapons for M4 if i can't even farm on M4? Any advice is appreciated, thanks! [link] [comments] |

Dumb question time, any helpful feedback is appreciated:) 1) Has anyone come across skin customizations in vending machines like BL2 and TPS used to have as the item of the day every once in a while? On a side note, has anyone seen any legendaries in vending machines? 2) Are there any cosmetic unlocks for completing challenges like in the aforementioned games? I know TPS had an unlockable head after killing I think 1000 enemies whilst airborne. 3) when looking at gun specs in the menu, are all the percentage buffs already applied to the guns numbers, or are the percentages on top of what the numbers say? For example, if a pistol has 500 damage and one of the buffs in the text underneath says +10% Weapon Damage, is the 500 number including the 10% buff or is the damage grand total 550? I've already sunk 6 days into my Moze and I'm playing through the casino DLC and these lingering questions have been tearing at my psyche, so just wondering how other people's experiences have been. | Need help farming Lucians Call [Ps4] Posted: 01 Jan 2020 07:41 AM PST Im looking for some intrepid vault hunter(s) to help me farm for the awesome guns that are the Lucian/Rowan calls. The only problem is the bosses that drop them are at the end of the Slaughterstar slaughter circle. Im playing as Zane. And yes i know some feel he's inferior but ive got a build that mobs great and can do decent single target damage. I can make it to the bosses myself, but it takes about an hour and half to kill all those Maliwan dicks and help would be greatly appreciated. Im looking to do this relatively soonish.
