| Posted: 21 Feb 2020 02:18 PM PST The TPS characters were the best designed characters of that generation, in my opinion. They took everything that had been innovated roughly in BL2 and streamlined it in beautiful fashion. For example, Gunzerking was extremely broken and overpowered due to all the dual-wielding glitches that could happen. Nisha took gunzerking and, while it was still very powerful, fixed it from being so absurdly broken. And Wilhelm. He took Axton's Turret and Gaige's Deathtrap and combined them into a unified, beautiful package that's probably the best-implemented drone we've seen in Borderlands thus far, BL3 included. Not to mention Aurelia, who was probably the coolest(heh) and best designed support character to ever exist. Combining a huge variety of sniping skills, plus cryo, plus support buffs, she's the perfect example of how you make a support character fun. The trouble is that TPS just didn't have a very good story or level design, and its endgame was, to be generous, extremely limited. BUT! If you just took those characters and let you play them in BL2, it would be a ridiculously cool expansion of both games, and would allow for a huge resurgence of replayability for BL2. There are people who made dozens of each playable character for BL2, and allowing them 6 new characters to play with would be a joy to behold. I know it's a long shot, but it would be an amazing long shot. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 21 Feb 2020 03:58 PM PST I'm probably wrong about this, but i recently started borderlands 3 up again after a month of not playing and I don't remember getting hit with heavy weapons through the barrier when moving around with it. Did they nerf it with one of these last few hotfixes? It defends against heavy weapons when placed but not when picked up. Did I miss something in some patchnotes? [link] [comments] |

Would be pretty cool if the same thing happened with Borderlands... Endless possibilities. | Posted: 21 Feb 2020 03:04 PM PST ... when I encountered a chubby skag in The Droughts with my level 6 Moze. I didn't know chubbies were in BL3. It only dropped a lot of green loot but I'll take it. I've finished the game with FL4k and git him to level 50 and, quite honestly, I missed chubby and tubby enemies. It's made my day to know they're back. [link] [comments] |
