| Buff-Nerf Ration of Borderlands 3 (as of 20.01.2020) Posted: 20 Jan 2021 08:06 AM PST I've recently seen people claiming that there were "oNLy nErFs iN bOrDeRLaNdS 3", which is an outright false, misinformed and dumb statement. I dont know why this statement came up again lately. So I did a little research, I skimmed through all Hotfix- and Patch-notes on the Borderlands website. I've also listed them in a Google Docs Spreadsheet. The results are clear: within the first 4 Hotfixes and 2 Patches there were already more buffs than there have been nerfs in the entire lifespan of the game! The Buff-Nerf ratio is around 10:1 (realistically at 9,6:1). So stop saying that "tHeRe wErE oNly nErFs", this is wrong. There's hard evidence of the opposite! | BL3 classes vs previous games. Boring? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 09:55 PM PST I've recently purchased BL3's ultimate edition and was trying it out but over the course of like 6 hours on 2 different characters. I felt that the classes were really boring mechanically. The tech trees in some respects seemed deeper since it asks for minmaxing across multiple trees but they felt unexciting. Perhaps it's that the trees feel like there's so many useless or dead points that don't seem to be holistic to me. I had a lot of fun with mechanics in the presequel (in general like space stuff and classes seemed more fun too), or borderland 2's gaige/mechromancer. I felt like anarchy and the reload strategies were fun created new styles of play specific to her that I would've never gone for; low ammo shotguns and smgs. In general, I think I've enjoyed every class in previous games more. Anyways, I'm trying to figure out why I don't feel excited about the borderlands 3 classes. any thoughts? [link] [comments] |

The little window that says borderlands pops up, dissapears, then the game window appears, the game window is frozen at the beggining of the explosion or something and only goes forward when I press the space bar, it goes a few frames forward, i have to press spacebar again, then the game crashes, help? | Pre-Sequel Crashing PS4 [Handsome Collection] (Error CE-34878-0) Posted: 20 Jan 2021 09:24 PM PST tl;dr, Handsome Collection keeps booting people off when we're playing together in The Pre-Sequel, it happened in the starting area right after we got our vehicles. Prior to that we've been great for a whole handful of zones and 7 levels (so an hour or two of gameplay.) It hasn't happened to me at all, but it's happened:
Any ideas? My only guess is it had something to do with driving cars around in the beginning area with Janey? Kept happening while trying to do the quest for the Laser gun. Any help/info is appreciated, or even people sharing similar woes/stories if there is no solution (most solutions seem to be "try everything and the kitchen sink then hope/pray.) [link] [comments] |

| Are Gear Calculators for Borderlands 1 dead now? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 10:40 AM PST I haven't played BL1 since the Enhanced Version came out, and it seems like with the complete shutdown of Adobe's Flash Player, there is no way to use gearcalc, whether that be in a browser, or on the desktop. As we try he never got the "Social" option on his menu. I found him when i search for him in Shift but he never receive any invitation from me. No matter what I put in, it says "there was an internal error setting the display name" and I'm unable to get past this screen. I want to know if there is a way to get around this somehow. | BL2 suddenly having studdering Posted: 20 Jan 2021 10:09 AM PST When i played yesterday the game ran for me completely smoothly with no problems Today when i logged back into my game it began studdering and freezing for about a second or less every few seconds, making playing very annoying. | Internal Error: Shift Display Name Posted: 20 Jan 2021 08:54 AM PST I have spent 30 minutes poring over Gearbox forums and Reddit posts and Steam discussions. Nothing is helpful. I just bought Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Steam. When I try to play, I'm asked to create a "Shift Display Name", whatever that is. Regardless of what I type, I'm told there's an "Internal Error". I cannot play the game. I was told to use the Shift website at GearboxSoftware.com .. I linked my Steam account and tried using the display name shown there, including the underscore. I did. SAME PROBLEM. I was told to end other game services (Origin, etc). I did. SAME PROBLEM. I was told to examine my firewall settings and make sure Windows 10 is letting this game through. I did.
