| Anyone else notice BL2 runs horribly on PC? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 06:47 PM PDT Running a well above "recommended" spec PC for this game (Running a Ryzen 1700 and GTX 1080 w/ 16 GB RAM), yet I'm getting frame drops at 1080p resolution on high settings. Ironically, my game doesn't crash while I don't have the ultra HD texture pack installed but runs like garbage, yet the opposite is true when I do have it installed. I've had multiple PCs and all have done this. What gives? I read online somewhere that BL2 only uses 2 GB of the VRAM on your GPU so I'm attributing it to that. If it's this or something else, it's frustrating AF to try and play this game with such issues. [link] [comments] |
| Borderlands 2 reborn fatal error. Asking for fix Posted: 09 Jun 2021 07:13 PM PDT Hello, need help as stated. Downloaded the mod about 2 days ago, and things were working fairly smoothly. Had finished the firehawk mission, and was clearing out the loot in the rest of the map. The game froze suddenly, and I got a notification saying fatal error, and that multiple game files could not not be found. Followed the general guide to reinstall, but the console in bl2 kept telling me that the file could not be found(even though I had placed bl2 reborn's text file into the binaries folder, which is the correct place according to the installation guide). | Community Patch 2.2 Won't Work on BLTPS Posted: 09 Jun 2021 06:55 PM PDT I'll preface all of this with the fact that I pretty painlessly got the community patches for both BL2 and BLTPS working on a different device via BL Hex Multitool with the same method I used on this device. I've been trying fruitlessly to get the community patch working and no matter what I've tried so far, it just won't work. I've tried to use both the Hex Multitool 1.3.8 and BLCMM and neither have worked. I've reinstalled the latest releases of both and reinstalled the Patch.txt file itself multiple times to no avail. My Patch.txt file is in my Binaries folder as it should be, my filepaths are set up in the Hex Multitool correctly and I've reset them multiple times just in case. I've tried both online and offline mode and neither worked. I've verified my game files multiple times. If I open the game right after verifying game files and try to exec patch, nothing happens. If I first reapply the patch via the Hex Multitool then open the game and try to exec patch in the start screen, there's a big mess of text in the console regarding a bunch of unrecognized class or object (I don't remember the exact message but it was something along those lines) and my game crashes once I try to load in on a character. If I do the same thing but exec patch on the main menu instead of the screen beforehand, nothing happens and I don't crash when I load into the game. If I try to launch the game with BLCMM, I either insta crash or crash once I try to load into the game. At one point, I opened BL2 and exec'd patch there and it somehow exec'd TPS patch, though this only happened once. I really have no idea what's going on, as installing the patch on my other device only took 5 minutes and I had none of these problems. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? [link] [comments] |

| Does the Ruiner still drop DLC 3 heads? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 11:01 AM PDT So I've been farming the Ruiner for a while now trying to get some of the Bounty of Blood heads (Zane & Moze specifically I'd like) yet after over 150 kills all on M10 & M11, I've still yet to see a single head. I know the drop rate of the DLC 3 heads is notoriously low but I'm beginning to wonder if they even still drop from Ruiner. I've tried looking on Google & Reddit but any & all posts I've been able to find about it are dated July - September 2020, almost a full year ago. So I'm just wondering if anyone here can verify or knows if they still drop from Ruiner or if I'm just wasting my time? [link] [comments] |
| Texmod doesn't work in latest version of borderlands 2 Posted: 09 Jun 2021 04:23 PM PDT Back then i used to have fun making textures in borderlands and today i went back to use texmod on borderlands 2 same with pre sequel, again and for some reason i can't select the textures anymore or press - +, enter. | BL2 Split screen co-op on the Switch with two different accounts? Posted: 09 Jun 2021 12:09 PM PDT My friend and I normally play together online from our own homes but we will be together later today and want to play split screen. My question though is will it be possible for each of us to be able to sign in and play from our own respective accounts split screen on the same tv so we can use our own characters? | Posted: 09 Jun 2021 08:50 AM PDT Quick question, im about halfway (?) through BL2 and have noticed the lack of cutscene splatter-text intros that they usually do for boss character and main characters, after like the first quarter of the game. is there a reason why they stopped doing them? (no spoilers please, if they do) I JUST finished fighting The Sheriff and was feeling like she coulda definitely benefited from a cool splatter-intro like the other bosses! [link] [comments] |
