| I dont hate Ava. She is just a missed opportunity. Posted: 12 Aug 2021 08:34 AM PDT I know its like beating a dead horse at this point but im dissapointed in her. Many people want her not to be in the story but i dont dislike her entirely. I would even think that it was a great opportunity to kill maya off. They just did it poorly. How about this. Ava is as annoying as she is in the game. Inmature, loud and stupid but when maya gets killed because of her she breaks down. Because of her, her Mentor just died and she knows exactly why. She hides herself on the ship ashamed and hating herself for it. After a while Lilith talks to her and encourages her to keep going. She lost a good friend aswell so she knows how it feels to blame herself. Ava becomes more humble and apologizes to you and beggs you to continue where Maya left off. In some missions she acomponies you and helps you out while learning to be a vault hunter. She keeps growing as a Person because of you lessons and the other characters help her out to. You can see her on the ship helping out Ellie, Moxxi and Marcus from time to time. In the End she helps you defeat the Twins. She gets Mayas powers in my variation aswell but she earned it this time. She didnt do that much but you couldnt have done it without her. Maybe in the next game she would become a Vault Hunter. [link] [comments] |
| Something hilarious I thought about in the Vault of the Traveler Posted: 12 Aug 2021 04:25 AM PDT Edit: I meant Vault of the WARRIOR, my bad So your character gets to the area and Jack 'de-cloaks' from in front of the control panel before his title card shows up, so........ was he just cloaked for NO reason until we show up? Who is he hiding from? Lilith is suspended in the air and the Rakks don't attack unless threatened, so that could only mean he's hiding from the crysalisks that only seem to attack us. Other than that imagining that after he captures Lilith and starts charging the key he cloaks himself for what could be SEVERAL HOURS until we actually get there makes me giggle to no end. Posted: 12 Aug 2021 10:21 AM PDT I just got started with Borderlands 1 and I'm liking the game a lot, but I the story doesn't seem to "show up" or go forth at any moment... I've been playing for 5.4 hours already and already went through the first boss, but I don't get any important dialogues and the game seems to be just a bunch of missions that doesn't really show me where I'm going story-wise. | Ps4 & ps5 crossplay bug when traveling Posted: 12 Aug 2021 04:48 PM PDT When me and my friend try to load into another section of a map, it keeps saying that "someone is in the menu" and it gets stuck there until we both fidget through our menus and pressing Square at the same time. | Posted: 12 Aug 2021 02:18 PM PDT Finally beat the game, got 1 epic from Tyreen/the Vault. When I go to Lilith's chest, I get 3 Jakobs pistols and a Tediore. Two of the legendary pistols are the same one with different stats. Worst of all, they're not even good ones, like The Flood. I just want a new Torrent, man. I got one from Arm's Race at level 14 and it's STILL my second slot weapon when I just hit level 36 at the end of the game. I even used it on Tyreen for a moment, although at this point, it's outpaced by an epic Dahl rifle or even one of the Jakobs pistols. I guess I have to start farming Mayhem... [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 12 Aug 2021 05:05 AM PDT I was watching an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise (S1E09) last night. The ship had been taken over by Ferengi and the were looting it while the crew was unconscious. They'd woken up the captain and demanded he tell them were the vault was and he wouldn't. So they are searching all over the ship trying to find it. At one point, one of them says "I'm tired of vaulting, You look for it (or something like this)". Had to pause it until I stopped laughing. | Questions about the Borderlands Movie Posted: 11 Aug 2021 11:34 PM PDT So I guess I haven't been checking this stuff because apparently they've been cast for months now, but I saw that Moxxi, Hammerlock, Tina, and Krieg. I have... more than a few questions. Moxxi actually I see working in a movie setting, the underdome could be a place they go to get information. No my issue is Hammerlock, who to my knowledge was spending his time in what became the frozen ass tundra area. His first appearance, in the timeline, was when he saved Claptrap after Jack booted him from Helios. Tina and Krieg are a much bigger issue though. Both of them became the characters we know because of Hyperion, a corporation that is not as powerful in the Borderlands 1 era. I don't get why you would cast Krieg of all people already since his whole motivation was Hyperion and PRETTY BLUE LADY. I think including characters from some of the BL1 DLC would be good, but I'm worried that they're trying to capitalize on the "most memorable" characters by getting them on screen ASAP instead of letting their story progress naturally. I'm still gonna see it, you think I'm gonna miss Jack Black as Claptrap? But I can't help but be a little worried about it. What do the rest of you think? [link] [comments] |

Not only are some of the actors too old for their roles but others (looking at you Kevin Hart) just don't fit at all. So I've pretty much come up with a better cast for the movie.
