I was replaying BL2 and got to the wildlife exploitation preserve. Jack had captured bloodwing and we have to go rescue her. Queue up the big reveal and fight, when I stop and really think about how stupid this fight is. How in the sam hell at did Jack NOT consider removing the upgrade chip and collar from Bloodwing. In fact, he probably had to get her fitted for an even BIGGER collar because of the experiments. He literally had what we need to raid the bunker in his hands and went "yeah let's put it back on the bird". I know he sends out the loader squad to meet us at the exit but come on, after Overlook he should have known that wasn't going to stop us. Everything that happened in the bunker was his fault. This site listed the best and most powerful version of every piece of gear in Borderlands GOTY. Since it showed item cards generated by the Gearcalc, the content could have been lost after flash was no longer working. I managed to grab a screenshot for every Weapon, Grenade and COMs that were listed on the site and compile them in a similar manner inside a Google Drive folder : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16ydGgMLrh2AcyHjfOKjA_a5weBd0GSKV As mentionned in another reddit thread the BorderlandsBestGear website is now down so I'm sharing this ressource with you all so the community can still access those beautiful items in some way. | Try this out if Borderlands 1 GOTY is running like trash on PC Posted: 12 Dec 2021 08:12 PM PST I was trying every type of configuration to get Borderlands 1 GOTY running decently on my PC but nothing I did would get the framerate above like 15fps, then I found this post and comment from 3 years ago that solved my problem. I wanted to like the comment and reply but it was archived, so just reposting it here in case anyone is struggling to get the game running decently on PC. After doing the following, I was able to run the game on high settings at 60fps and my gaming laptop is over 4 years old. Thanks u/GamerBlaster93: Hmm, ok try this instead. In Windows, open up "Settings" and follow this path: System > Display > Graphics Settings > Select "Classic app" (for me it said "desktop app") > Browse > Add "Borderlands GOTY.exe" > Options > select "High Performance" then "Save" See if this works for you. | Which vault hunter team would win in an all out fight Posted: 12 Dec 2021 12:25 PM PST Rules The teams must be taken from the latest point when they were all together and subsequently alive (BL1 is the war room before the assault on the BNK3R BL2 is the fight for sanctuary DLC BLTPS is the moment before claptrap gets shot in the claptastic voyage And BL3 is the end of the fantastic fuster cluck DLC) Characters can only use items and skills that they've been shown to use in cutscenes, promotional materials, comics and trailers (So Salvador can't use grog-harolding and will instead be using two non unique assault rifles, Zer0 and krieg are using melee builds, Mordecai is sniping ETC) Any team or individuals feelings towards their enemies and teammates will be taken into account (So Athena may try to attack Wilhelm and Nisha, and Claptrap would probably try to abandon his team for betraying him) [Edit: if an ability or build is on display within the gameplay of a game where a given character is non playable it is considered canon by the rules, (for instance the Scorpio turret can heal but Zer0 can't use critical ascension)] With these rules in mind who wins? And how do random people know you're a vault hunter too. Dlc now, vaughn. According to tales from the borderlands, vaughn is with Rhys and that other girl, and they meet zer0. Im looking for someone who can effectively use smg's and snipers at the same time. I like Maya and gaige for the versatility, I'd also zero for his exceptional sniping. Like i see comments saying oh i beat the game 2 Times did all dlc and events, but the game sucks. Like dude you easily got 100 hours of content and you are trashing the game? Like if you think it sucks so much then why play 100 hours plus and even beat the game. Of fking course you can dislike a game after 100 hours thats a shit ton of gameplay on just one game. Like honestly BL2 is good but it just feels slow tbh compared to bl3. And BL1 is just no i dont like that game. By far the most boring vault hunters of all time. And also the story. Who gives a shitt about the story this is not a story driven RPG like fallout its a action based RPG like diablo but its first person. Like how many gives a shitt about diablo 3s story? Not many cause they made a mode where its all gameplay and no story lol adventure mode. Cause people play it for""""gameplay""""" if you want shooting and story then play all fallout games they are amazing. Like mute the characters and just enjoy the gameplay loop just listen too the gun sounds take in the amazing ambiemce sounds and music. I could honestly listen to sancuatrys theme all day the music IS JUST THAT GOOD. So yeah i like this game. But i also switch games often and when i dont like something i rarely play it more or even more rarely go to reddit and say how shitt it is. I simply move on.
