i mean is it better than bl2? not really no but thats subjective and besides its still super good as its own game. the vault hunters were such a blast to play i mean they were all unique and the dlc was really beautiful. idk it just seems like a solid 8/10 game for me

Few ideas from Division I would like to see in Wonderlands

    Posted: 18 Feb 2022 05:45 AM PST

Being fan of both games (and the genre in general), there are some areas, where I believe Borderlands should improve and the do not have to re-invent the wheel. Basically just implement of what is working elsewhere.

    Better living open world

While Borderlands is IMHO several seperated locations, having one connecting environment/world filled with NPCs and stuff to do will be great. We have seen some new idea in Wonderlads, where you can see your small character from above, so lets see where this gets us.

    Ability to simply switch builds

Being able to safe a loadout of skills and weapons and switch it easily is great. Unless I missed something, Borderlands does not have that and for example you can respec only at specific locations. ... Being able to do so during a mission is great quality-of-life change.

    Stats after mission

Being able to have some stats after Slaughterhouses, Raids etc. (damage done, damage taken, grenades thrown, FFYL time etc.) is great to be able to compare efectivness of buils, and to trash talk with your friends.

    Repeatable but always unique endgame

I heard something about "dungeons" being endgame content in Wonderlands. Having those being procedurally generated, like Underground or Summit in Division, will be great.

    What do you think?

Do you need the DLC's to get to maximum level and the 4th skill tree?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2022 02:28 AM PST

I've read that those things came in updates, released with the DLC's i wanna know if i have to buy them to be able to get to level 72 and use the fourth skill tree. If the answer is yes, then i pretty much regret buying Border 3, since that game was already expensive and buying the DLC's is outta consideration for at least 3 months. I don't mind expanding the max level on DLC's, since they would be expanding your options by letting you get more of the content, and since the enemies scale with you, it's pretty much balanced, you're just using more of what you could already pick in the base game while the enemies get stronger and stronger. But a new skill tree with a new power? That really seems like something you should get by an update, getting new powers right from the start because you bought something extra, and being able to make builds other players couldn't even think about really sounds like Pay to Win, specially depending on how powerful they are. I'm a bit pessimistic, since the purple tree isn't available for me on Moze, but i still have a bit of hope that... i dunno, i'm doing something wrong or that's something you unlock in UVHM or something.

Why do you think Salvador got pushed to the wayside?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2022 09:30 PM PST

It seems like Sal is the character that has the absolute least screentime of all of the Vault Hunters. Aside from his voice in one DLC and an easter egg in Borderlands 3, he's basically unheard of after his debut game. Why do you think that is?

Is there a way to share items between characters in 3?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2022 11:35 AM PST

I've been playing Border 3 with Amara so far, but... i really didn't enjoy much of her style. Maybe i should try Meching my way with Moze or even being a stealth sniper with Fl4k, but a brawler mage? Nah, jot much my style. BUT, i got two legendary items playing with her (Storm Front and Stop-Gap), and i think it would be a shame to just dump those items just because i don't wanna play this character anymore. Is there any way to give other characters your items like in Borderlands 2? If yes, where/when can i find it?

    Does story really matter?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2022 11:02 AM PST

I've been a borderlands fan for as long as I can remember and of course the biggest draw for me was it's gameplay and its aesthetic and style. The mixture of RPG and FPS elements and its cell shading, cartoonish art style makes this franchise a staple in the gaming industry. But I feel like story in any of the games were just there just to be there. I never really found any of the writing to be much intriguing or stand out. But that's just my opinion. What do you guys think?
