    Female characters

    Recently I've been talking about with a friend of mine about female empowerment in media, wether it's good or bad and how to do it right. And right there borderlands came to my mind.

    It's almost crazy how most of the lead characters are women, and they manage to be mostly intresting, complex and badass (I mean there are obv ones who are not, like Ava or Steele) without them ever having to drop a line like "I can stop Jack and avange Roland for I am a strong woman, and woman cant be messed with".

    Hell, even Moxxi, who is so overly-sexualized it's a miracle she didn't start a huge contraversy, kicks Ass. Zarpedon, Athena, Fiona and Sasha, Ellie and many many others are great characters on their own right, and they dont have to all line up behind Lilith Avangers Endgame style to be justified. Other media could take notes.

    How great would it be if Tiny Tina hosted games of Bunkers and Badasses as dungeon runs similar to OP lvls in borderlands 2 and the trials in BL3

    I'm trying to remain hopeful as for whatever reason the BL3 end game has me feeling a bit bored. Can't tell if it's bank space reducing the want for me to farm legendaries or that it's more efficient to farm one boss because he's the fastest kill (everything is world drop)

    Thinking of awesome ideas how cool would it be for Tina to host several end game dungeons each with their own small story and badass boss at the end

    The trial runs are a step in the right direction but the weak bosses at the end and the lack of any objective makes them kinda boring.

    All in all I believe that it is such an amazing game and don't want the post to come across like I'm ragging on BL3. Just a little thought on improving it in the future

    I collected every Legendary Weapon (116) in this game so far and uploaded 3 videos already for 56 legendary weapons Already!

    I out a lot of time and effort into these, so i appreciate if anyone just slightly interested in the legendary weapons, please check them out.     All the missions are so much fun, but holy shit the main thing in Lectra City where you star in that Battle Royal. So good!!

    The cheering/booing when you kill a bandit and the different challengers. Wow that was so much fun. The side missions were cool as well. I did have to do some leveling before I could kill Killavolt.

    Could have done with some vending machines though!

    Mayhem Modifiers would pair well with procedurally-generated Dungeons, but replaying the campaign with them is silly

    Slogging through painful modifiers just to play content you've played before, essentially just trying to make it to that next 5-minute section where you're standing around listening to Rhys ramble, is not that fun.

    I really wish Dungeons were in the game for this reason.

    Also, many of the modifiers are dumb (enemies reflect projectiles???). Some of them break the game altogether for certain characters. Consider the modifier "-35% gun damage, +35% skill damage" when you're playing Amara using Phasegrasp, which deals no damage...

    Where are the neat modifiers like:

    • Enemies run twice as fast

    • Bandits can fly

    • 10% of enemies spawn in vehicles

    • All enemies go boom in huge explosions upon death

    Etc?

    Rampager speed farming trick

    So I was farming the rampager when I came across something interesting.

    If you enter the vault during his death animation, but before he's died, when you exit the vault he'll respawn. It's super helpful on mayhem 3 if you have good modifiers you don't want to lose by save quitting.

    Just a cool trick thought I'd share with you guys, happy hunting!

    We all know that Zane is the weakest of the 4, and both FL4K's pets and Moze's Iron Bear are kind of shitty in the Mayhem levels, so let us Combine Our EnergiesTM and Telepathically Communicate To RandyTM that we don't want nerfs for the strongest playstyles but buffs for the weakest.

    Video games - especially Borderlands - are about power fantasies, and smashing stuff. If anything in Borderlands is 'OP,' it's either a bug or a reward for smart character building, and the number of people I've seen whining about it is blowing my mind; have they never played a Borderlands before?

    Please, Gearbox, give us buffs. Not nerfs.

    I'm sure people have noticed by now but the fact that Claptrap finally got us to actually follow through on that outrageous and unfathomable quest in Borderlands 2 is both adorable and depressing lol

    He got us to do every single ridiculous mission the other Vault Hunters managed to circumvent

    -Collect an absurd number of brown rocks

    -Defeat the Destroyer of Worlds

    -Dance for his amusement

    Every silly thing we brushed aside 7 years ago as "Lol fuck outta here" we ended up doing.

    Granted none of it was particularly what we anticipated but I guess at the end of the day, this whole game kinda feels like a lesson in subverted expectations.

    Procedurally generated dungeons for DLC

    Hey fellow VH'es, I've seen a few sub posts ideas around procedurally generated dungeons. Oh my god I love this idea!

    Especially if you finish the story campaign it would be great to have random generated content or even Rifts like in Diablo3 that take random map elements and enemies and mix them up.

    Anyone have any other ideas for DLC content or added content for BL3?
