Patch broke "mark as junk/favorite" feature. Posted: 24 Oct 2019 01:11 PM PDT I am on PS4, after the latest patch I cannot mark items as "junk/favorite" in the backpack. I can at the vending machine or if the item is equipped though. To me it seems the patch broke this feature and I've asked a few friends who are experiencing the same issue. Please fix this asap! I understand many bugs are being worked on and overall I'm very happy with Gearbox's work on updates etc so far. But this patch broke something that was working properly and it's a very basic feature of BL titles. [link] [comments] |

The most important change of the new patch Posted: 24 Oct 2019 07:00 AM PDT "Adjusted the volume of the 2K and Gearbox logo intro movies" THANK YOU [link] [comments] |
Heck should have a Fast Travel station and boss reset mechanic at the start of the area Posted: 24 Oct 2019 06:22 PM PDT I've only done it 4 times and I'm already tired of collecting 25 Hecktoplasm every single run. Don't get me wrong. I like that the boss can't just be farmed a hundred times a minute like GW. But there's a middle ground. Can't there just be some sort of ghostly altar you've gotta pull a lever on with your full team nearby to reset the spawns in the area? I mean, that seems like a fair balance between easy grinding and irritating collection quest. [link] [comments] |
In regards to the future target dummy Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:50 AM PDT Please gearbox, add one dummy for every health type. A shield based, armor based, and health based dummy would be great. Please don't miss the opportunity to make the target dummy addition as good as possible Edit: a way to proc skill is also a must! [link] [comments] |
The Biggest Takeaway This Patch... Posted: 24 Oct 2019 10:52 AM PDT Is that they're listening. The cast majority of the complaints we've had have been at the very least addressed in this last patch. Skippable cutscenes, bank space, even the volume of that little kid saying 'Geawbox.' This shows that they're listening to our problems with the game, and that is a very good sign for the future. I wish your room was more customizable. Posted: 24 Oct 2019 07:06 AM PDT I would love if you could buy furniture and things like that or rearrange the room a bit. Also, it would be awesome if your weapon wall was more of a showcase with lights shining on it almost like an art exhibit. That's probably the part that bothers me the most. They light up the color of rarity, but you basically can't see the details of the guns at all, and that's kind of the point of it. Also, getting a pet or something in the room would be a really cool addition. Even if it's like, a fishtank, a birdcage or a hamster. [link] [comments] |
Since the new update is anyone else able to mark items as junk or favourite? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 10:32 AM PDT It's such a small feature but I use it every time I pick up a new item that I don't need so I can sell it immediately. Since the update it's broken for me. [link] [comments] |
The Moze nerf is intentional, and the reasoning makes no sense Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:04 PM PDT Here is Gearbox's response regarding the change to how beam grenades interact with Vampyr and Means of Destruction:
Some people seem to be reading this as "the changes to Moze were unintended, and we're going to address them as soon as we can," and I don't know why, because it says exactly the opposite of that: the changes to Moze were intentional, and they will buff Moze in later patches if they determine she needs a buff. To start with, the reason given for the change is nonsensical. If beam grenades were counting as AoE damage instead of grenade damage, wouldn't they have been unable to proc skills like Vampyr that trigger specifically off of grenade damage? Wouldn't buffs to grenade damage not have applied to them? If the two were mutually exclusive, wouldn't all the grenades that were properly categorized as grenade damage not have been affected by skills that specifically affect splash damage like Fire on the Skag Den and Torgue Cross-Promotion? The damage done by these grenades clearly was being counted as both grenade damage and splash damage, and based on reports that they are no longer proccing either Vampyr or Means of Destruction it appears their damage is now considered neither grenade damage nor splash damage. There's some kind of argument to be made for them not being splash damage, but I can't think of a single argument for them not proccing Vampyr beyond "we don't know how to balance this, so we're breaking it." The skill literally says "whenever Moze damages an enemy with a grenade." And frankly, I don't think it was incorrect to categorize them as splash damage in the first place. Sure, the Hex deals damage to a single target, but the Storm Front and the Quasar both arc to any enemies in range; they deal damage in an area, which, by definition, means they deal AoE damage. Now, I don't subscribe to the idea that balance is boring, that there should never be nerfs in a PvE game, or that Borderlands as a franchise is centered around broken builds. I'm of the opinion that, while I disagree with some of the specific changes (like giving LNT a cooldown and reducing the Flakker's mag size), all of the nerfs so far have been both justified and well-measured, and that all the things that have been nerfed are not only still viable, but still stronger than most of the alternatives. I consider the community's reactions to the nerfs to be ridiculously overblown, and frankly childish. Last week's nerfs specifically felt pretty good to me; I enjoyed that I could now use the Hive rather than the Flakker or the Storm Front rather than the Hex and not feel like I was playing with one arm tied behind my back. This change, however, is completely unacceptable in my eyes. Not because it makes Moze's grenade build less effective, but because it objectively reduces build diversity by completely breaking all of Moze's synergy with her three most popular grenades, because it happened immediately after another substantial nerf to this exact build and after Gearbox said there would be no more substantial nerfs, because it was clearly intentional and they clearly went out of their way to not only avoid saying it was intentional but to avoid even stating that it happened, and because the reasoning makes no goddamn sense. I mean Gearbox, what the actual fuck? I know you wanted to address this build, but surely there was a better way to do it than "none of your grenades work with those skills anymore, because we say so." Last week's hotfix was actually a great example of how to do this very thing correctly: the Hex and the Flakker were both heavily nerfed, but the build didn't work or play any differently, it was just a bit weaker. This change, by comparison, removed the fundamental synergies upon which the build was built; it didn't make the build weaker, it killed it outright. I can make similar builds that do similar things at a similar power level by swapping in a Firestorm/Epicenter or a Big Boom Blaster, but the items I have already farmed are now completely useless, so I now have to spend time farming new items just to recreate the build I already had. Nerfs are necessary, but this is not how you nerf things. [link] [comments] |
Borderlands 3 Simple Loot Page Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:31 AM PDT Hi Everyone, Here is a loot page for Borderlands 3. Simple Borderlands 3 Loot Page I have been pushing to complete this for a little over a month. It is hard because I got work and an hour commute to work and other obligations. So I tend to just want to play. However I made a loot page for Borderlands 2 that went over pretty well and wanted to the same for Borderlands 3. I took my lunch hours and about an hour each evening putting this together. I hope you like it. There is information that I am still adding and checking to make sure it is correct. But it is about 95% complete so I wanted to put it out there. The information was pulled from youtube videos, Borderlands wiki, /u/tonydml sheet, and just my general playthrough. Please let me know any criticisms or things that could be adjusted or fixed. Borderlands 2 Simple Loot Page for anyone interested. Have a good day. [link] [comments] |
A suggestion to improve Bloody Harvest: let us toggle it on and off. Posted: 24 Oct 2019 06:45 PM PDT One of the complaints I'm seeing fairly regularly is that Harvest anointments are replacing regular anointments during a special anointment event. It also strikes me as strange that you can't shut Bloody Harvest off; it's a strange thing to have happen on a first playthrough, and it adds problems to regular gameplay that aren't normal game mechanics, affecting the gameplay experience. My solution is simple: allow us to toggle seasonal effects on and off like Mayhem Mode. This will allow us to focus on non-Harvest anointment farming, and will allow people to play without the seasonal mods if they so choose. [link] [comments] |
Kill ghosts,Kill Haunt, Rinse repeat.... Posted: 24 Oct 2019 01:42 PM PDT Anyone else bored of the event after about an hour? I get that there are terror anointment's now but they only really work if you set up a terror build. Its free, but for an event to last until December just to get lousey cosmetics. I rather mindlessly go back to farming Graveward then have to collect 25 hectoplasm every time to fight Haunt. Just my oppinion. [link] [comments] |
A moze build for people who dont want to use demolition woman Posted: 24 Oct 2019 08:24 PM PDT People keep talking about how the means of destruction bug has made moze unplayable but its just not true. Ive never touched her DW tree and im melting enemies in slaughter shaft and (most) bosses with ease with this build Why say only "most" bosses? Because troy is a scrawney little shit thats hard to hit with a lyuda sometimes As for other gear id suggest using: Class mods Bloodletter: the best one for this build. Being able to heal your shield with health packs is too good for survivability in slaughter shaft. Also getting more points in thin red line just improves your survivability more Blast master: if your gear is mostly splash damage i suggest using this if youre willing to sacrifice some survivability. Putting so many points in to bottomless mags makes reloading even less likely so guns like the lead sprinkler, ogre, and devastater benifit from the 100% splash damage bonus even longer Guns Lucians call: good if you can land crits really well. If not try ogre or pain is power Pain is power: benifits from click click and stoke the embers well. Its down side is that instead of breaking it sets you on fire, which having such a huge shield helps negate. One of my favorites for sure Ogre: absolutely wrecks and you almost never reload it so consider pairing with blast master if youd like Linoge: also benifits from click click and its projectiles arent effected by reflecting mayhem modifiers. Its downside is that its more suited for close range so use rushin offensive to close the gap Butcher: still wrecks after the nerf. All that needs to be said Lyuda: she is lady death and i worship at her alter. I use a x2 incendiary varient for most boss fights Night hawkin: the x2 varient wrecks hard but the regular one is still pretty good. Vanquisher: if mayhem modifiers wont let me use lyuda is use this guy. It gains increased firerate while sliding so take advantage of this when fighting graveward Relics, shields, etc. Deathless: an artifact thats almost essential to this build. Too good to pass up. Front Loader: a shield that essentially adds points to thin red line. Great to use if you dont have a bloodletter class mod. Transformer. You know it, you love it, and you dont have to farm for it. Pair with strorm front grenade to heal yourself in a pinch Storm front: deletes shields and heals you if youre wearing transformer Tinas hippity hopper: im surprised i havent seen anyone bring this one up yet. Its damage is pretty decent and its even better with the blast master mod As for other tips i suggest using ironbear as an oh shit button. Thats why we put a point in to full can of whoop ass. Use this time to deal as much damage with your machineguns until iron bear dies or runs out of fuel. Use this to trigger your annointed effects. Which since you wont be reloading you will keep your damage bonus from them longer too. I hope anyone who is upset about the recent bug will give this build a chance its a lot of fun and wrecks hard [link] [comments] |

My first impressions of The Pre-Sequel Posted: 24 Oct 2019 03:29 PM PDT My friends and I have just finished our first ever playthrough of Borderlands 2, which is easily one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Now we're onto The Pre-Sequel, and as of writing this post, we're level 11. My first impressions of the game are that it's pretty damn fun. Deadlift as the first bossfight was annoying as hell, but everything else has been a blast. The new laser guns are great, the Stingray is my favorite vehicle in the series, Athena's shield is Captain America Simulator, and the Grinder is a perfect alternative to selling all your junk loot. My only complaint is that Janey Springs is an infinitely worse replacement for Scooter. There is no universe in which "G'day, mate! Got a moon zoomy right here waiting for ya" is better than Scooter's lovely voice yelling out "CATCH-A-RIIIIIIIDE!" Im excited to see how the rest of the game plays out, but Im also a bit worried since many people think The Pre-Sequel isn't good [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Oct 2019 05:48 PM PDT It's really cool of Gearbox to do this and everything don't get me wrong. But the Terror mechanic itself is a little annoying and the Terror anointment nearly completely take over the drops. It sort of ruins the increased anointment drops especially if after the event is over you don't want to run a Terror build. [link] [comments] |
a comment about haunts boss fight Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:17 AM PDT OMG THAT MUSIC IS HECKING JUMPING that is like some of the best music in the game i dare say even better then mouth pieces music [link] [comments] |
The Flakker Buff is really nice Posted: 24 Oct 2019 12:21 PM PDT The weapon is now insanely ammo efficient, it only takes one ammo to fire and it does a fuckton of damage for the price of one shell. You ligit have to put effort in to running out of shells while using the flakker. [link] [comments] |
Instead of ignoring already known cosmetics, just give them value. Posted: 24 Oct 2019 06:56 AM PDT I wouldn't have nearly as much of an issue with the lost loot mechanism catching cosmetics if there was a value beyond 1$ to them. If they were worth either cash or equivalent eridium it would pay off a bit when you sold them off to a vendor. [link] [comments] |
Short Tutorial for the Pumpkin Puzzle Posted: 24 Oct 2019 02:58 PM PDT |
Since Gearbox seems to be listening.... Posted: 24 Oct 2019 07:55 PM PDT Can we please simply get a spawn point in the Sanctuary deck where Lilith is? It seems so simple but it would be a huge QoL improvement when trying to grind through. [link] [comments] |
Moze's Means of destruction doesn't work anymore Posted: 24 Oct 2019 12:12 PM PDT Playing on Xbox, but after the patch.. Moze's means of destruction doesn't work anymore. It's rendered this current build pretty much useless as I am unable to regen grenades/ammo. I've already reset the game and respec'd.. No luck. Is anybody else having this problem or is it just me? Not sure what to do about it right now. [link] [comments] |
Load time cut in half when running DirectX12 Posted: 24 Oct 2019 07:12 PM PDT Holy crap, DirectX12 now loads in about a minute or so. Best part of th new patch imo [link] [comments] |
Its sad people still switch purge lobbies to have loot all for themselves Posted: 24 Oct 2019 10:07 PM PDT Was playing the new event earlier and the very moment that one of the legendaries dropped from an enemy, I end up straight in the main menu due to change in Network settings. The guy even admitted it when I messaged him and just responded after lying with "u mad bro". Even with cooperation group mode, pieces of **** like this still roam. Other than than, I have been enjoying the event. [link] [comments] |
