| Posted: 07 Mar 2020 03:31 AM PST I unlocked Treasure Hunter somewhere between 4-6 weeks ago, and I felt it was working, my legendary drops seemed to be going up and up. And I kept dumping more points in Luck just because - I'm at 11.92% right now. However, past couple weeks I feel like my legendary drop rate has fallen off a cliff for either Mayhem 3 or 4. Like I completed SlaughterStar last night on Mayhem 4 and got about 4 legendaries all together, out of all 5 rounds. Neither Blue nor Red dropped anything. "Maybe that's just bad RNG," yeah okay, but I'm saying it's been like that the past week.
Weird coincidence: I feel like my drop rate has been wonky ever since I found a level 53 white, anointed, ECHO-2. Cool that I found this thing, but it's a been a bad portent that I did find this thing. Anyone else experiencing some kind of similar issue? Should I try turning Treasure Hunter / my Guard Tree off? Is there a way to test legendary drop rate, to see if it's working as intended? [link] [comments] |

After running around with a list of the 21 points of interest, I've narrowed it down to either the Market District or Vice District. Problem is, I can't seem to trigger them. | Posted: 07 Mar 2020 09:42 PM PST So, I have been playing Borderlands since it all started. Loved it all, iffy on BL3 but still playing it because I love loot..and shooting things. Sorry for a long post :) Here is the problem, I can't solo endgame content. I have been playing with a buddy (who has since quit because he is bored) and I have no desire to play with random people, no matter how nice they are. I am just introverted that way. All 4 of my characters are level 53. I have never, with any of the patches, done end game content. I cannot complete the takedown, nor can I complete any slaughters. I favor Amara and Zane but neither have finished anything. My Amara using an elemental build w/ Lob has gotten to Tyreen in the story and now am stuck. My Zane using a chain Zane, without redistributor because I can't kill Wotan, still cant finish slaughter or takedown. On Moze, I was able to complete the Takedown on Normal without Mayhem but shite for loot, not a single legendary after two hours. All my characters can do story on M4, TVHM (except Amara right now) but the takedown and slaughters just create some kind of progression wall. All I am wondering is...what am I doing wrong?? What kind of build can I use to progress? Do I need to farm Wotan on Normal without Mayhem for HOURS hoping for the right legendary to take me into TVHM? Or is there something I am missing? I would just like to see progression, dying before I can even see Kraken in takedown while I can kill everything in the story is just...well, depressing. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |

| Which game to start with for co-op? Posted: 07 Mar 2020 02:53 PM PST Hey guys, my wife and I are looking for a co-op shooter game to get into, and have heard good things about Borderlands. I've never played any of the games, but from what I have seen in videos, they all look like a blast! Since we are both new to the series, is it necessary to start with the first game? Which game has the best co-op experience/easiest to get into? We'll be playing on an Xbox One for reference, I'm not sure if there are significant differences between the PC and console versions. | Tediore Shield in episode 1 of Tales From The Borderlands Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:58 PM PST [SPOILERS] It's been years since the game fully released, still cant find any info on this shield Near the end of episode 1, after killing Bossanova, the arena is filled with "loot" The only thing you can pick up is a white grade Tediore shield, if you go past it, or try to grab any other loot, a cutscene occurs, and the game ends... The shield goes into your inventory, and is seen there in the next episode, so grabbing it MUST serve some sort of purpose Anyone know? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 07 Mar 2020 12:52 PM PST So i finished Borderlands 3 in the normal mode, and decided to play it again in true vault hunter mode, allowing me to skip all of the cutscenes. But there's one thing I didn't notice until now, the new writers completely forgot that claptrap can't climb stairs! I mention this because when you battle the enemies during the first Calypso's encounter and after you revive Lilith and stuff, they want you to go to the sanctuary spaceship, traveling up a huge row of stairs, something that Claptrap has told us constantly, he can't climb. And in the cutscene where they are all in sanctuary where the gang finds that her siren tattoos are gone, how did claptrap even get there? There are no elevators in the sanctuary spaceship and to even reach Lilith's headquarters, you have to go up a flight of stairs. The least the animators could've done to keep that continuity is have him roll or tumble down a flight of stairs in Sanctuary, instead of having him stand there statically with the others.
