| My biggest problem with borderlands 3 story isn't really that it's bad. Posted: 21 Apr 2020 01:14 PM PDT Okay, we all know the story is trash and I agree completely BUT where I think borderlands 3 went wrong is forcing us to endure the story and sit around listening to NPC's rambling on and on, unlike borderlands 2 where you can advance the story easily and completely skip most of the dialogue. In borderlands 2 we could just travel to the quest location to skip dialogue easily, the pacing is better because we don't have to sit around often we can keep moving and progressing. [Borderlands 1 and tps also did this but not as good] In borderlands 3 we have to keep returning to lilith, we have to keep listening to people talk, we have to keep waiting for people to do things so we can move on and to me that's the biggest downfall and I hope someday we get a solution to this because I think it would improve the game immensely, even if the story was good it would eventually still have the same pacing problem and would still be an issue IN my opinion. Borderlands has and always will be at it's best when we're killing enemies, grabbing sweet sweet loot and making builds. [link] [comments] |
| Social/ mailed weapons infinite exploit. PS4. Posted: 21 Apr 2020 07:42 PM PDT Borderlands 3. Not sure if this has been reported. When you are sent a reward email from the game from Zero or a weapons company, the attached item item can be received infinite times. Open [options] --> [social] and read the email. Accept the weapon. Do not leave the menu w/ the circle button. Instead, use the left or right bumper (L1 or 2, I forget which) to cycle through the submenus. When you arrive back at the email menu, the previously read email becomes new again. You can accept an item as many times as you like. Exiting with the circle after cycling back to refresh the email as new again will retain the email. This allows the emails to stack so as you earn more rewards you can accept an increasing sum of weapons per round. [link] [comments] |
| Unpopular opinion, I liked the campaign Posted: 21 Apr 2020 08:16 PM PDT Even very much, I state that I am not a lover of the saga, I have always taken some titles in the past with all the dlc (1,2 as I can remember ; I don't think others) and I have always liked them; thanks to the virus closure I dared and took this too; I must say that, having just finished the main campaign without having yet opened any dlc, I liked it, not to be enchanted by it, but maybe I confirm what I said, I miss a little zed and the presence of claptrap unfortunately seemed to me a little marginal but nice job (quite a strange last boss, but tastes I suppose) [link] [comments] |

My last build was Moze's SoR Tree with Bottomless Mags thrown in. But when I left there was a lot of nerfing and buffing happening so I'm kind of curious about where each VH stands now. For instance, when I left FL4K was hands down the strongest with Zane being considered trash but now I see a lot of people saying Zane is the best? [link] [comments] |

| Borderlands 3: The Cathedral of the Twin Gods bugged Posted: 21 Apr 2020 09:16 PM PDT I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. I'm going through the game, trying to get all collectables, when I get to this map. The minimap doesn't show my player icon on it, neither does the main map. When I go into it, and hit L3 it shows nothing and it doesn't save progress for location on it. If this doesn't belong here, I'm sorry. Just trying to find a solution. I put in a ticket through shift yesterday and still no reply yet. I have tried fast traveling away and back, going through the devils razor entrance, a save/quit and a full game close and reopen. I was wondering if much has changed, the lack of end game killed it for me comparing to terra and verm from bl2 but I'm going to give it another crack. | Maths from the Borderlands: Mayhem 4 and Blue Unique Weapons Posted: 21 Apr 2020 08:17 PM PDT Ok, so I'm farming Crushjaw in the Cathedral of the Twin Gods on Mayhem 4 to get a Bone Shredder (red-text unique blue weapon) just because I'm a completionist and have a lower level one in my Bank that just bugs me. Since Mayhem 4 makes rarer weapons more likely to drop from enemies, does Mayhem 4 actually make the chances of a Bone Shredder dropping less likely since it's a blue rarity? What do you guys think? | Old God Shield Farming Question Posted: 21 Apr 2020 07:31 AM PDT I've been farming Empowered Grawn for a few hours now since many people said this is the best boss to farm for the Old God Shield. However I've yet to find a single one. I know I wouldn't be able to take it on on Mayhem 4 so I'm settling on Mayhem 3. I have 14.98% luck through Guardian Rank and I'm also using a level 50 Load Dice Artifact with a 12.67% luck modifier. Is this shield a Mayhem 4 exclusive shield or have I been very unlucky so far? Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm doing this on Normal Mode, not True Vault Hunter Mode. How (or if) does this change things? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 21 Apr 2020 01:19 PM PDT In order for Borderlands to compete with active players and attracting new players and also in order to survive, I think it's best they keep monthly updates a recurring thing. Events like increased loots means nothing for end game players trying to have fun. Maybe 2.0 is a big step towards this and I think they should keep it coming and not let the fun stop after May. Alot of people have stopped playing in general and other games like Fortnite have communities dying because of old content and inconsistent updates that make the game seem so repetitive doing the same raids and mission types. | Question about characters in BL3 Posted: 21 Apr 2020 09:10 AM PDT Hey everyone. Can anyone give me an overview of the 'builds' supported by each character? I've seen the general and shallow overviews of 'Here is X character's action skill' but I'm looking for more of a meta-overview of what niches each character fills. An example of this would be something from Borderlands 2 like "Zer0 has a few builds. His skills can support a sniper build, a build focusing on melee strikes, etc." Just a sentence or two detailing what classes work with what playstyles. Who works with explosives, who works with melee, which classes are best for assault rifles or snipers, which classes focus on grenades, yadda yadda. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
