I really hope that a patch or something comes along to fix/change a lot of the useless class mods

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 01:49 PM PDT

It's almost fascinating that there are so many classmods in bl3 that are just not used at all. I feel like in bl1/2 and TPS there was a good build for each and every classmod but when I look at certain coms in 3 I just wonder what they were thinking.

Now the character with the biggest amount of utterly useless Class mods in my opinion is Zane. Basically according to every end game Zane player there is only one class mod for Zane and that is the Seein' Dead. You'd be hard pressed to find a Zane that actually utilizes stuff like the cold warrior or the Techspert.

Then Amara has stuff like the Dragoon Class mod which basically a melee mod for one of her non melee trees which makes no sense to me.

It just feels like every character has 1-2 viable class mods and then 1 like supreme "this is all you need" class mod which sucks balls. Even looking at the new dlc the only character that got a good, solid class mod was Amara right?

I'm just saying, if they can remove bad anoints and bad mayhem modifiers, they should be able to remove or change class mods so that we have more build variety, especially now since we have so many skill points that most builds are starting to feel a bit the same

    Music of Borderlands

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 03:02 AM PDT

I just wanna say I'm mesmerised by the original soundtracks of the series, especially B2. I finished the game long ago but I'm still listening to the soundtracks from Spotify. The southwestern desert athmosphere in many of them, and the pirate theme in the DLC soundtrack.. Its giving me goosebumps all over. Do you guys know any similar game/movie soundtracks or soundtrack artists that offers the same inspiration ?

    Ps4 Different character loadouts

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 08:26 PM PDT

So I recently got back into borderlands, and had some characters I don't use power leveled. I've never really used them so I dont really know which weapons they use. Its gaige, maya, and zero btw. Though they are high level I'm still at the start of the game so j cannot farm for the items I need anyways. I was hoping someone throw me a bone and help me farm in an uvhm game or hook me up with something to make the beginning less of a drag.
Also I've played since the game was released, just not these characters. I'm sure other veteran players have experienced the pain of going from an op boss slayer to a brand new character.

Borderlands - Game of the year edition

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 09:57 PM PDT

Game is on sale at PSN priced under $10. I have read game experience is not good for many players. Game has glitches and fps lags etc. Is it all fixed now or had been left in same state!? Like most games, I will probably play this single-player and offline. Might do couch co-op. sometimes. Played it originally on PS3. But eye strain couldn't let me play it for long time. Loved Handsome Collection and BL3 on this (last) gen. Is this game all fixed & worth playing now? Please share your experience.

Do you think we'll ever get CL&TFFS on Nintendo Switch?

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 12:48 PM PDT

I loved it, but I got rid of the computer I used for Steam. I would love this DLC on Switch, to complete the BL2 content in the Legendary Collection. Effervescent weapons were awesome, and I never clued in to use the Toothpick/Mouthwash/Retainer combo against Haderax at the time.

My BEST Bloodletter Moze Build | Level 65 Mayhem 10 Moze Build breakdown | Borderlands 3

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 06:04 AM PDT

    Hey Everyone!

It's your friendly neighbourhood Moze main Nootmad, and I am back with another build breakdown. This time going over my newly updated Metal Jacket Moze build which in my opinion is one of the best bloodletter builds you can use for Moze in Mayhem 10 at Level 65! But before we go straight to the discussion, I also want to let you quickly know that i have made a video breakdown on this build over on my YouTube channel right here! so feel free to check it out there if text posts aren't your thing. But if you don't like videos, I gotchu!

    Time for the Build!

So the general gist of this build is to abuse amp shields through effective use out of the Bloodletter class mod. The bloodletter class mod converts all health regen into health regen, which enables shields to be at max capacity most of the time so amp up as much of your fired projectiles as possible.

    The Weapons!

As this is an amp build, slow firing and hard hitting projectiles reign supreme. And for that reason. i will recommend 2 weapons.

    1. Plaguebearer. Its a mayhem 6 and above legendary torgue rocket launcher that drops from the Warden in The Anvil over on Eden 6. Its more or less a powercreeped Scourge. In simplest terms, it fires a slow moving orb that also spawns homing micro missiles that deal huge damage over long distances. I recommend the usage of 2 different elements. Cryo for armoured targets and Shock for shielded targets. As far as anointments go, consecutive hits reigns supreme (surprise surprise -.- ), although 300/90 will work in most mobbing situations too. Keep in mind, the raid bosses in this game have immunity phases, so your 300/90 annoint will become redundant once you get through the first damage phase.
    2. The Backburner. A base game rocket launcher that is also exclusive to Mayhem 6 and above, this one dropping from The Agonizer 8999 9000. I recommend the same elements as the plaguebearer (cryo and shock) but a corrosive variant will help too because Wotan resists cryo for.. reasons.. i guess? Recommended anoint is also the same as the Plagubearer.

    Class Mod

As far as class mods go, i recommend the Bloodletter Class Mod. It drops from the Skag of Surival (Trial of Survival) on Gradient of Dawn. As i mentioned earlier, the Bloodletter converts all health regen into shield regen. And this is what makes this build shine.

Through the use of Rushin Offensive and Vampyr (life steal skils on Moze), we are able to keep our shield topped off as much as possible to increase the likelihood of amping our fired shots.

The skill rolls are also very important. I recommend the COM to have +2 in Thin Red Line and +3 in Desperate Measures. the +2 in Thin Red Line, combined with 3 extra manually invested points, puts us at 1hp without the requirement of using the Deathless relic. Which in my opinion, is a pretty pointless relic. A Victory Rush relic gives us a nice little multiplicative damage boost, whereas all the Deathless relic does is give us extra shield (which is kinda pointless considering we have Phalanx Doctrine in this skill and i almost always have 100K+ shields anyway)

The sub stats i recommend are heavy weapon damage, splash damage and weapon charge speed.

    Artifact

The best in slot relic for this build is the Snowdrift Victory Rush (drops from Azalea in Jakobs Estate) and the reasons why are:

    1. Snowdrift gives Moze lots of mobility as without it (and without the speed demon mayhem modifier) moze is basically a snail that somehow got herself a 10 tonne mech.
    2. Victory Rush prefix gives us a nice little multiplicative damage boost as the victory rush damage bonus is calculated separately to the gun damage bonuses (that things like the pearl relic gives us), and the extra movement speed upon killing a badass is nice too because moze is slower than a god damn snail!

The sub stats i recommend are once again similar to that of the Class Mod, basically being stats that boost your damage overall. Mag size isn't as required as it is for typical moze builds since we aren't using things like blastmaster or green monster.

    Shield

Moving on from those focal gear pieces, we can touch on the shield

    1. Version 0.m. Its a legendary amp shield that drops from The Valkyrie Squad in the Maliwan Takedown on Midnights Cairn. The 0.m is the best amp shield in the game, giving us a 125% amp damage bonus. The re-router is also a decent alternative but only boosts the amp damage by 120%.

The annoint I recommend is the gunner cooldown annoint to help get Iron Bear of cooldown faster. The Bonus Element anoints aren't as recommended as once again, extra elements don't provide much benefit when skag den alone gives us so much.

    Skill Tree

And now we can finally get to the skill tree. Now, instead of just talking about each skill, im just going to link the skill tree and just go over a few things that i think are out of the ordinary for standard moze builds. So. Here's the tree!

Now, as far as skill tree uniqueness. There really isn't much. Just a few points though

    1. Rushin Offensive in Bottomless Mags works flawlessly with this build. Simply fire your launcher, and then start sprinting. Any damage your launcher does while sprinting, gives you that life steal that immediately converts itself into shield regen, almost always filling your shield back up to maximum capacity.
    2. Lots of points in Phalanx Doctrine gives us a crazy amount of shield capacity and gun damage, and if you end up watching my build video, you can se that i almost always average anywhere between 15-30 stacks

And honestly, that's about it. If you have any questions about the skill tree, just let me know down below (in the comments...) and ill be sure to answer them!

    Fin

So yeah, that rounds out my build explanation. If you made it this far, i just want to thank you guys for reading the whole thing, and i hope you found it useful. I also want to let you know that i actually do a lot of video breakdowns just like on my own YouTube Channel here ( <---- click click pls ) so feel free to check that out if you're after some level 65 builds and general information to improve your game knowledge! Like always, if you have any questions or thoughts, let me know in the comments! I hope you guys found this quick discussion useful and I'll see you guys next post! o/

Is it inevitable for Jack to become a villain?

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 05:05 AM PDT

Or, is he beyond saving even if Moxxi's betrayal never happened?

I mean, IF ONLY he have something or someone akin to an instructor or mentor, could he be a better person? And to top that, what if The Eye was destroyed by, say, a miscalculation and not betrayal?

    Haah... for want a nail...

    New Mayhem Idea

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 10:22 AM PDT

This new mayhem mode is called: True Mayhem. Its only activated by the console on the ship and it can't be activated on the menu. By activating this mode, the mayhem device hard resets the universe into its most difficult setting....4 Player Scaled Activities on whatever the highest Mayhem setting is, so in this case 10...Except the catch is there aren't 4 people at all, its just you, and the entire campaign that's left to complete.

In this mode, no players can join your game. No Mayhem settings are active. But okay speed demon is pretty clutch so maybe the ones you selected prior to activating true mayhem are the ones you'll be using for the rest of the game.

Obviously you keep all your gear. Thinking of it like just resetting your missions except now everything is scaled to 4 players. You can turn this mode off whenever you want but if you turn it off before killing Tyreen....you loose out on the Achievement and reward.

Speaking of Tyreen, every boss in the game will have the name "The Invincible" tagged to it. Excluding obviously bosses that already have it. The achievement for beating this mode is simply called "The Invincible". And you get a shield sent to your mail by an unknown Guardian called you guessed it "The Invincible" following which ever character you used. So if you did it on Zane, you would get a shield called Zane, The Invincible. This adds a layer of armor to your health and shields that is scaled to the highest mayhem mode. I'm thinking the perk is it has some of the highest damage reduction in terms of shields in the game, reducing damage in all elements.

Edit: True Mayhem can be brought to the DLCs. Im thinking the drop rates increase considerably to where you start to see a lot of guns with good anoints that you wouldn't typically see normally. Activities like Takedowns are just default scaled to 4 players. Cant be switched lower unless the mode is turned off.

What is the best Moze setup for somebody with very limited legendary class mods/weapons ect. And only level 31

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 09:02 AM PDT

I have been looking for a good moze build but all of the "meta" builds require a high amount of skill points and specific legendary items. I'm still completing my first play through of the game and I'm just wondering what the best skill tree is for a low level player

    Seems like a good jdea

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 07:56 AM PDT

I think there should be a new match making mode, maybe called boss mode. This is where it makes a match with other players to fight a randomly selected boss on a battleground, maybe even more than one boss.

That would be quite fun plus it's hard to remember for me where all the bosses are located!

    Au idea??

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 04:16 AM PDT

What if Rhys and Handsome Jack's Hologram worked like Klaus's powers in TUA. So Basically at first Only Rhys could hear or see him, Then Rhys could feel / touch Jack and then if he tried he could Make jack visible to all and as if he had a body, Rhys could just stop giving him a body whenever he wants to. This is an idea I really like and I Want opinions on it.

When should I do borderlands 1 DLC??

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 03:21 AM PDT

Hi there guys, I was just wondering when I should do the dlc for bl1. Im playing on ps4 too. Im so confused as so many people give different answers and I guess its up to playstyle and preference. But Im on pt2 now at level 36 in Fyrestone. When should I do the dlcs so that they are all balanced and I get the most fun but still have slight challenge to them??
