| What was your "Howling with Laughter" moment from ANY Borderlands Game? Posted: 15 Nov 2020 09:29 PM PST What, to you, was the FUNNIEST moment from any of the Borderlands series of games? For me, it was the THIRD playthrough of BL:2 during the Your Are Cordially Invited: Tea Party quest when gobs of enemies swarm Tina's cave and you must keep them out. Why the third? Well, my wife and I always played it in co-op. And during that fight, things can get intense. You have to focus on wave after wave after wave while killing and watching your health and watching your ammo. So, the first two playthroughs both of us were focused on fighting and staying alive. But, I was Salvador, and by the time you get up to higher levels with him, more enemies makes it easier--especially with a Gunzerker build and a Miss Moxxie wep that returns health. Quite literally, Salvador winds up with infinite health and infinite ammo if you throw enough enemies at him. So on the third playthrough, I finally got to relax a little. And for the first time, I can actually listen to what Tina was saying during her prep for the Tea Party. And I was howling with laughter. Tina's comments during the set up are incredibly funny. It is a perfect mix of her little girl who is psycho personality. She is engaging in little girl tea party banter with Flesh Stick while he is hurling death threats at her. Mind you, the fight is going on, my wife is playing her Siren intensely, but she is focused on the fight like always--while I can pretty much phone in my portion of the carnage. So we are playing, I am howling with laughter, she finally says, "What is so funny???" I tried to explain, but it went nowhere. You had to actually hear the exchange, and if you did, it was a riot! | Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:39 AM PST I'm someone who gets into the fan created content part of Borderlands quite often, and I like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable of the lore because of it, but I haven't played BL3 yet, don't have the time to currently, and have no idea if this information even exists in that game. How does interstellar space travel work in the Borderlands universe? Any explanation is welcome, be it complex and in depth or a two word basic answer. [link] [comments] |

| What's the best version of BL3 on PC? Posted: 15 Nov 2020 10:10 PM PST Hey, I played BL1 when it was first released when I was a lad. Loved it. However, I haven't touched any of the other Borderlands since. However, in the lead up to Shadowlands releasing, I've been trying to find a game to chill out on. So, I bought the GOTY enhanced version on Steam and just finished playing through that. Absolutely loved it and realised that I'd try and play through all four titles. I have the Handsome collection of BL2 on Epic 🤮 and am now starting my play through of that. After BL2, I'll play the Pre Sequal and probably give the tell tale version a miss. However, when I get to BL3 I'm not sure what the best "bang for buck" version to get is. I want to experience everything that's worth experiencing but there's so many damm versions and they're all drastically different in price. What do y'all suggest is the best version to pick up? I don't mind buying extra stuff in the future, I just want to do it in the best coat effective way. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 Nov 2020 08:24 PM PST I just finished the Game of the Year edition of Borderlands for the PS4 and am currently playing through the DLC campaigns now. Why is Mad Moxxi's Underdome so boring? Like the game already has Circle of Slaughters, why do we need one as a dedicated DLC? I'm a completionist too, so playing through the DLC was hell. I just wish we got actual story or it was structured more like Torgue's Campaign of Carnage from Borderlands 2. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 Nov 2020 04:27 PM PST Ok I'm in the general nox dlc and I can get the first part (jumping through the hole) but actually jumping the house to get into the prison just won't work i keep landing before the wall. Yes I have tired to go around and a) I can't get to where the door usually is (blocked off) and b) when I was looking around and the area where I've seen people go through has a wall there Any help would be appreciated [link] [comments] |
| Constant System crashes after Nov 9 DLC install . . . Posted: 15 Nov 2020 12:02 PM PST Hello All, I am super confused here, because I thought these problems were fixed. Ever since I installed the Creators' Update patch, my Xbox One x crashes after about an hour of game play. And this is a FULL system crash that turns off the xbox. Happens when I play for more than an hour, or alot when i try to join an Online game. This is insane because BL3 is the ONLY game that has ever crashed the entire xbox. I've been playing Gears 5 for hours at a time, and no problems, and my kid has been playing the hell out of the MCC and no problems. It's just BL3. Is anyone else having these issues now? What is wrong with this game? It's basically unplayable now and it sucks because I just paid for the creators update :( [link] [comments] |

It says on the Epic Games store page that it now includes season 2 stuff. When I went to play the arms race it said I have to purchase the designer edition. | Is this game worth picking back up? Posted: 14 Nov 2020 10:38 PM PST I played BL3 from the first week of launch until october of last year. Had fun with it, but at the time they were dropping weekly hotfixes and the balance was all wonky. 1 week Moze (my main) was by far the best character but IB was trash past lvl 25. Next week, Moze was nerfed to hell and IB was still trash. Swapped to Amara, who was also nerfed the moment I hit lvl 50. Was largely dissapointed by the story, gameplay was awesome but endgame content was pretty lacking. Have balancing issues been fixed, and have the DLCs added enough content (and not just regular but endgame as well) to be worth picking this game back up? [link] [comments] |
