| Posted: 25 Dec 2020 02:19 PM PST Just finished the Homestead 3 side mission in The Splinterlands and when I pulled the lever it looked like something was supposed to come out of the roof of the house to help me fight the bandits but I didn't see anything. | BL2: Why can't my friend play the DLCs? Posted: 25 Dec 2020 02:48 AM PST I gave my friend my copy of borderlands the handsome Jack edition. He beat the game but he told me he can't play any of the DLCs that I told him about. I assumed the DLCs were in the game disc like the older console days. | Borderlands levelling is a broken mess Posted: 25 Dec 2020 03:07 PM PST Following on from my other thread about how disappointing the Borderlands DLC is, i'm on the General Knoxx section now, finished the story and noticed all enemies became 1 or 2 levels above me. Fair enough, it helped me gain plenty experience and i'm now at level 67 with Roland on a second playthrough (I pretty much ignored the story to complete it). I attempted the Crawmerax level and died instantly. I seem to remember something equally as unfair in Borderlands 2 before I gave up. In any case, I thought i'd go rob the armoury instead and get myself something to try and help in the fight seeing as the goody room in the Claptrap DLC seems to cap at level 57. Going back to the vault and General Knoxx is now at level 69 (2 above me) and an absolute BULLET SPONGE. My corrosive shotgun melts all other enemies around my level or slightly higher, i've having extreme difficulty with him this time though. I've lost about $10m trying to down him. Last attempt got him right down to almost zero before a devastator appeared out of no where and shocked me. In my attempt to quickly kill Knoxx he just lept over me and ran off! It genuinely feels like the game is trolling me now. I just want to end this POS so I can get the trophies and move on, beating this specific DLC has made it considerably harder than it should be AND i've still got the Moxxi one to go. :( I've found no matter what level I am, bosses seem to take a shit ton of ammo to kill regardless of their level. If you're much higher they'll be easier, but when you consider an enemy three levels above you can kill you swiftly, it doesn't work the same the other way around. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 25 Dec 2020 12:41 PM PST It's basically a bunch of cut content that they didnt have time to fully implement in game but unlike movies where its 5 to 15 minutes of extra film So heres a list of stuff that I think will come:
I think slag comes back. It's been stated that the designers and directors cut will include new ways to create Mayhem. Currently theres no element in the game that debuffs enemies. Maybe it comes back in the form of specific weaponry and grenades. It was incredibly powerful in BL2 and will likely be reworked like everything that's been brought over from 2 into 3.
Primarily near the end involving Troy, Tyreen, and Ava. There will likely be included extra dialogue and or cutscebes th at explains why things happen the way they do and or what's up with Lilith. Maybe we get a new ending. I think BL3s base campaign starts off good and or doesnt need too much attention. The ending I believe will get reworked.
Big Badass Tank that got scrapped that you can digistruct. Vehicles are underwhelming. So this being an addition would be nice.
So theres been ongoing rumors about a cut content involving vaulthunters and a bartender. Also something about a TV show. These could be added into the game. Kinda like how Arms Race added back Axton and Salvador. I'm thinking npcs will have new dialogue hopefully.

| Is Borderlands 3 Worth Playing Right Now? Posted: 25 Dec 2020 06:32 AM PST For context, I've put countless hours into the first Borderlands game and I very much enjoy it, same with Borderlands 2 although I have put far less hours into it than the original. However, I've never actually played Borderlands 3 because by the time it came out I had switched to PC and it was only available on the Epic Games Store, so I had never gotten around to playing it. Fast Forward to today, it's currently available and on sale on Steam and I'm considering buying and playing it for the first time. Is the game still worth playing at the moment, or should I just not bother? [link] [comments] |

I can link the YouTube tutorial I used to get the mods installed, and have had several of them work. The randomize mod seems to be the only one that acts differently. Posted: 24 Dec 2020 09:49 PM PST Lilith told me to equip my grenade launcher (Mose), I equipped it to slot 1 and then it made me say "I'll equip it later." What did I do wrong? Did I not equip it? How do I use it? Any other help would be much appreciated, I've always kinda disliked this game without knowing anything about it, but then I started reading/watching about it and now I'm super excited to start venturing into this game! | Annoying load times while farming fix Posted: 24 Dec 2020 08:33 PM PST Hey fellow switch borderlands fans. Chances are you like your switch. If you use 50% of its intention (play portably and on the go) and also like to farm weapons you've probably realized how long it takes to leave the game and go back to the main menu with it asking you to connect to internet EVERY SINGLE TIME! You often have to sit for ~60 seconds before being able to use the main menu all because you aren't connected to internet. Well wait no more, I just discovered playing in airplane mode completely bypasses the huge wait time of it asking you to connect to internet. Seriously why do I have to wait for "Updating Session" to go away just to resume a game. [link] [comments] |
