Me and my wife have this bug every single time we play arms race split screen. If one is us dies, it's not possible to respawn them, I go to the respawn point, hold square, then it acts like she's respawned, but she is just sick in spectator mode and l legendaries are lost.. also, once this bug occurs, whoever was the one who died, will be invisible in any future games, you can only see the the weapons and eyes.. slightly horrifying, but more infuriating.

Is there any way to fix this?

Borderlands shift codes for skins/heads a few questions!

hello! so I have a few questions about shift codes, the following is me compiling them! hope its ok to ask all of these.

Note: I am on xbox one! I just wanna get all the skins/limited items/heads I can. I play Zer0 mainly and timothy/zane/lilith for there respective games.

First: So I have a mask code from the collectors edition of borderlands 2, just wondering if I use it on my Xbox one when I get a Xbox series x will it carry over or should I wait to redeem it? plus it should be useable on all characters right?

Second: Are there any currently active shift codes for skins/heads in any of the games?

Third: Are some skins/heads that have shift codes lost to time? (in words they have never been issued again/have not recently and the codes no longer work)

Fourth: is a shift code for skins/items (the Halloween gun, I think its the only shift gun code? and stuff like that)/heads likely coming out soon?

Fifth: Where is the best place to find shift codes (like an archive of past ones)?

Seventh: when is the best time to use the loot chest codes? / should I use them? / can I use them? (have they expired)

8'th: if I use the shift code for xbox 360 will the code for PC not work?

9'th: should there be 21 shift code cards in the card pack? 22 total. I got the second version of the lower tier one (with the fake mask, the cards, 3 posters, 4 fake pages and the chest).

the card pack was sealed so I think the codes work!

My thoughts for Borderlands 2

Hey all! I recently started playing Borderlands 2, after asking many of you which was the best entry for the series in another post. I gotta say the game isn't sticking with me. I am not liking at all the systems and mechanics. Maybe this will be an unpopular opinion, but these are my thoughts for the game as for now.

If some of you have and advice, or a suggestion (i.e playing with another character or so) keep me posted! I am still playing the game for now.! (Also I don't want to offend anyone, just my opinion).

Let's get started! :D

I chose Maya for my play-trough. Was mostly solo. Level 30.

Build: Your build means literally nothing until you get enough points to invest in it, which takes many... many playthroughs that can be wholly dependent on what gear you get. The real progression (character wise) takes forever to do anything and never really changes up your capabilities until again, you hit max level. It's a slow, ardous process to actually make it worth a damn, because one point just gives a passive that's already highly situational. Capstones might change it but that's 20+ levels in, if that. And that's for the "one" game changing skill you just spent 5 hours in getting nothing but scaled-up guns and passives.
Guns: You find one gun with the perfect mechanics you like and in an hour it's literally worthless and you place it with a mediocre gun that's higher leveled and does more damage but accomplishes pretty much the same thing because of the levels and scaling.What's so great about legendary weapons anyway when they drop at your level becoming worthless in the next few? Why does the game suddenly get "worth it" when I get one of the few unique hand crafted weapons instead of the randomized diablo loot nonsense?
Leveling Up & Progression: Despite the rapidity of the leveling, the progression is 90% fake. The rapid leveling means it's just equipment upkeep as an excuse for a high volume of loot (which becomes more annoying than fun), but the slow actual skill progression means that none of it matters until you save 5-6 levels worth of level up points. You're doing this all the way to max level.It can still be fun for sure, but I never found it great even with friends. It felt like mostly tweaking gear and stats than actually shooting. Not to mention that the game's shooting is completely anemic. It feels awkward to even try and shoot with any precision and I've found it just better to hose down enemies with volume over actual headshots or weak spots, which really isn't fun when you're trying to play Zero. Melee's also trash in that regard, until you get some equipment that benefits that (which again, is 100% RNG). For all the flavorful and artistic design the game has, the actual game mechanics are subpar and just annoying.

At some point, I realize if maybe this game was just built for addicts... Small teeny bits of progression everywhere that mean almost nothing but give the vaguest impression that you're getting more powerful. Better weapons that just compensate with scaling, that may offer a few more tricks and interesting functions at higher levels but end up being replaced just as quickly at the last. Bigger numbers, while your character still needs 30+ more levels to get to a point where their build actually matters.

I did like Handsome Jack, but most of the time the dialog was not that interesting because of firefights and other people screaming at me when fighting enemies. Felt like I wasn't paying attention because I can't stop for a minute because a lot of enemies where behind or chasing me in some sections.

Maybe the game wasn't for me, what do you think guys? I am open to give a second try, but damn. Don't know if I can handle it....

This is for BL1 Goty Enhanced edition, So I finished the 2nd playthrough of the game and I'm level 55 and got orange writing guns galore, I would like to know where and when I will start seeing pearlescent weapons.

I completed BL2 with one character (Zero), and now playing TVHM. I'm a solo player, and not too keen on grinding/farming. I'm also a casual player and would probably find UVHM too hard.

Should I move on and buy BL3 instead of replaying BL2 with different characters? One thing I noticed when starting BL2 was the guns lacked oomph. I don't play a lot of shooters but the last game I played before BL2 was Cyberpunk 2077. The guns there felt more impactful and loud, BL2 guns felt like toys.

I entered sanctuary III for the first time and bunch of side quests popped up. I thought to myself yea, it is normal because i entered a new area for the first time. I first accepted Patricia quest which was to find all sorts of logs on the ship and then as a doofus i am, i proceeded to accept all the other side quests too mindlessly thinking it is gonna be bunch of those errand quests that you have to complete along the way while completing main story quest

-But it turned out those were DLCs quest which i accepted at level 11. Now what i am supposed to do? It is kinda annoying to see DLCs quest under main story tab.
