So I was wondering if the load times are really slower than before the updates. Last November it was pretty fast, but now it seems the game is loading way slower. Is this normal / does anybody else has this? Also, the game crashed on me when resuming today.i resumed a lot last couple of days, but same questions: is this normal / does this happen to anybody else? I freshly installed my xbox last week. | Thoughts on farming on first playthrough? Posted: 19 Apr 2021 01:49 PM PDT Playing BL2 for the first time, having a blast! What are you guys' thoughts on farming legendaries on your first playthrough? Does it degrade the experience somewhat, or would you say it's a legitimate part of the game? I'm playing a level 22 Zero, just did about 10 runs trying to get the Lyuda from Gettle (didn't get it yet) and got a bunch of XP, along with the legendary from the other dude. Feels a bit like exploiting I guess, a bit worried that the game will become too easy / I will become over leveled if I keep farming for this weapon. [link] [comments] |
| Started UVHM yesterday, looking for best places for grinding XP and loot Posted: 19 Apr 2021 08:17 AM PDT My intention originally was to abuse the reset function to massive XP but the unskippable cutscenes made it really long and unbearable. So I decided to do the Claptastic Voyage DLC from the get go. I just finished the second quest and started end of line. I'm planning to do Ov3rl00k over and over but I'm wondering if this is the best way to gain XP. I don't know that much about this game and I just want to have a smooth sailing to level 70 before I go too deep into the main story missions. I'm playing as Athena (lvl 53 currently). If there are certain things she can do over others for XP or loot, I would love to know. [link] [comments] |
| BL3 "Mysteriouslier" quest final boss (SPOILERS) Posted: 19 Apr 2021 09:15 PM PDT Okay so why does The Seer suck so bad? Also, the ending of that quest, hinting that Lilith is still alive is pretty lame too. Keep dead characters dead. Anyways, it took me two tries to kill that asshole on mayhem 11. The first time I gave up cause I had college crap to do and it was just taking too long. I thought I could fit it in before hand. Second try just ran out of ammo about 75% the way through the second health bar, used the infinity to get the rest down. The third wasn't that bad because the fodder enemies spawned and I got ammo back but it still took a second. In the famous words of the nerd, "What were they thinking!?!?!" Like seriously, did they not test this guy? The fight is so unsatisfying and I'm reading around that everybody is having the same issue. Other than the occasional person who says they melted him in a couple seconds. On top of an unsatisfying, bullet-spongey fight, the drops absolutely suck. One legendary class mod. Sure you get some red chests the first time you kill him but if you go back down, (I did so on mayhem 1 so I could get different class mods) they're gone. Leaving only the one. Soooo, why does The Seer suck so bad? Maybe it's just me but I was just bored the entire time trying to kill him. [link] [comments] |

But I bought The Handsome Collection which also has the Pre-Sequel which I plan on playing after & also have been redeeming shift codes for it as well. My question is will the keys be waiting for me when I play the Pre-Sequel? I have not ever started it but have my Shift account set up & so forth. Just making sure I am not wasting my time. I'm extremely impressed with how well they adapted these games and even though I've just now started 1, it runs very well and I've been very impressed so far. | How to not die instantly starting UVHM Posted: 19 Apr 2021 04:13 PM PDT I played through TVHM on a level 51 melee krieg build years ago and decided to come back and try UVHM. Problem is, I'm getting shredded instantly and have no idea how to kill enemies without instantly dying. My highest damaging weapon is a level 50 double penetrating unkempt harold and that still takes 4 shots to kill a psycho. I'm barely past the boom bewm boss fight at the very beginning and I've already died maybe 20 times. What am I supposed to do? The weapons dropped in at the moment also seem to do no damage. | Does the recent ASA patch note also include Zane's SNTNL cryo anoint? Posted: 19 Apr 2021 01:56 PM PDT Just want to confirm this with you all because I stopped playing awhile back. I remember an earlier patch broke the ASA anoint and I thought I remember people saying it also broke Zane's "When SNTNL is active, deal 100% extra cryo damage" anoint as well. So you basically had to have the gun out when you activated SNTNL to benefit from the anoint, but other guns you switch to wouldn't proc that some anoint. Can someone confirm that as of now, BOTH of these anoints are working properly? I'd very much like to use my SNTNL build again. P.S. I'm referring to the following patch note:

| (PC, epic store) Game turns on from the files but kicks out cuz epic isn't running (it is) Posted: 19 Apr 2021 08:47 AM PDT I tried downloading both TPS and Borderlands 2 and I experienced the same issues with both games. When turning on directly from the epic store, or their shortcut it first shows the launcher, then when I hit play, it turns black, sometimes flashes a part of my screen (like it's 800x600) and only plays sound when tabbed out of the game. I waited like 5 minutes and nothing has changed. Turning it from the saved files works with both launcher and normal game but i only see maybe 5 seconds, because it immediately crashes and says that epic isn't running (even though I didn't close it in any way when playing it from the files).
