| Does anyone else wish other manufacturers made other weapon Platforms? Posted: One thing I was really hoping to see was a much wider variety of firearm selections from the other manufacturers/companies in game. While some companies make sense at what they produce, other times I still think it would be cool to see them dabble with different firearm platforms. For example, If Vladof is all about High fire rate, I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to make smgs, or even shotguns. I can understand that the Assault Rifles and Pistols arguably function like that, but principally a Vladof SMG would be an amazing thing to see. Give it a name like the "BUZZSAW" or the "BRRRRRR." Maliwan already makes shotguns as of the 3rd installment, so I'd really like to see them dabble with assault rifles. I don't think it's too much of a stretch for them to take the SMG platform they have and bring it to a much larger caliber scale. I'd love to see them bring back Hyperion pistols in the next game if they can keep to the aesthetic of the weapons. Plus I think an assault rifle would be just as beneficial for laying down suppressive fire as an SMG would, especially if the recoil Compensators are added with each successive shot. Dahl, the classic military company should obviously have shotguns for room clearing. Have them be something similar to a KSG, or DP-12 where you can alternate tubes, or type of ammo. Buckshot, Bird shot, Slugs, Dragon's Breath. Semi-auto and full auto shotguns exist IRL so I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to incorporate them into their arsenals. Tediore, while their weapons can be hit or miss (in a literal sense and metaphorical sense) I think a Tediore sniper rifle or assault rifle would be great additions to the arsenal. Imagine getting a sniper rifle and when you huck it at your enemy like a spear as it hones in on them, or if you get lucky enough with a sentry deployable would make total sense. Now being the Jakobs fan that I am, though I hate using them because they feel like a crutch I would really like to see them expand on the Elemental Market. The Super Shotgun, Pa's Rifle, The Champion are evident enough that it can be done so Why not have a 6 shooter that hits like a mule and freezes you over more then Aurelia Hammerlock. Or melts that Suarian into a puddle of goo. I've always liked being a cowboy, why not let me live the life with a few elemental Variants along the way? I'd love to See Atlas expand their market as well maybe dipping into Sniper rifles, with their Smart technology. Imagine blasting some tracker darts at an unaware bandit, or shooting a hockey puck at them and then lighting them up with the smart bullets. Another idea would be if the target is marked by the tracking apparatus, it would automatically target the weak spot (if available) making it really easy to melt those bullet spongy enemies in the later levels. Torgue Loves blowing sh*t up so why not see the fireworks through a high power scope, Imagine using the sticky grenades and pinging a bunch of bandits only to watch them explode before they can even get to you. Not to mention you could properly utilize Gyrojets, where the farther away the target is, the more damage it does, but gives it a travel time rather then hit scan. You could argue the Rocket launchers already do this, but I disagree, I think it would be much more awesome to fire a mini rocket out of your rifle and then watch that little bandit explode into a spray a viscera. I'd also love to see Pangolin and Anshin get in the firearm market with their own unique weapons. For example, Anshin weapons could be Syringe or dart guns that have elemental affects, or siphon health off the enemies and give them to you. Alternatively you could have to where in co op if you shoot your ally with it, you can heal them by however much the damage is. Pangolin, could borrow from Hyperion's book and add deployable shields or barriers. They could specialize in Sniper rifles and Assault rifles and SMGs that can produce a large shield at the cost of ammo or your own shield. Anyone else agree? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: So, I just finished BL1 - great game... I experienced some lags and wanted to reboot the game really quick before heading into the dlcs and by that I accidentaly started PT2. So, first of all - is there an option to still play PT1? And, second of all: Should I play the DLCs back in PT1, if reverting is possible? If not, do I have to play the _entire_ game again just to start the DLCs? Don't get me wrong, its a great game, but I don't really wanna play everything again just for the sake of a few DLCs if I could head over to BL2 instead... [link] [comments] |

Completed the game last week and trying to move up through the mayhem ranks but having a right shit show 🤕 I've got mayhem 2 weapons bearly getting through the game on mayhem 2.. is there something I'm missing on this game because its got bloody solid to beat a mission 😅 I'm level 40 with Zane btw.. cheers [link] [comments] |

| Posted: So I just beat the first borderlands main campaign on the switch, and right when I went to start the Dr Neds zombie Island dlc, I realized several of the items I picked up after defeating the destroyer vanished from my inventory. As in I had empty weapon slots. Wack indeed! Just thought I'd share because it seems so odd. Disappointed for sure, cause I just sold off all my previous best after getting all new stuff at the vault, now I just have the usual accumulation of several different elementals we all pile up on. Anyone out there have a solution for future bologna? [link] [comments] |
