I was super hyped when 3 came out to see all the characters from 2 return. However as the story progressed I became more and more disappointed at how 3 kinda payed no respect to 2's characters. Zero got some good action and Maya too (except for when.... well...) Neither of them were as prominent as the OG characters were in 2. And more alarming was that half the cast didn't even make it into the game. Always found that weird how they were completely omitted. Anyways, enough ranting. I haven't played the most recent DLC's. I know Gaige and Krieg come back, but what about Axton and Salvador? [link] [comments] |

Borderlands GOTY is one of the games that interests me and I had so much fun playing Borderlands 2. However, I've heard that Borderlands isn't the best one and it's not worth playing so I wanted to ask people on this sub who have played it whether that is the case and if you have would you recommend it? | Posted: 28 May 2021 01:50 PM PDT Now wait! Before you hit downvote let me explain then you can do it. Now I started the borderlands series on 3 and had a fun time with the gameplay and though the story was okay. Then I picked up the handsome bundle, and I have say I think bl2 right fully deserves to be the best in the series... Except the story is not all that great, when people talk about bl2 they talk about handsome jack and how great he is but no one ever mentions that the story itself is great. Lets say handsome jack was replaced with you typical evil villain, then what does the game have going for it, the end game is rough to say the least and the story has hardly anything interesting happen, when people talk about bl3 they mention that the game killed people off for drama, but bl2 also does that, I won't say who for the sake of spoilers but the game more or less became great due to the community that was built up over several years. | Anything game with a similar story/humor Posted: 28 May 2021 06:16 AM PDT I've been poking around a bit and have only seen games with similar gameplay to borderlands whereas I'm looking for a game which has a story which is similar in the genre and humor does anyone have any recommendations? I don't care if the gameplay is bad as long as the story is good but obviously prefer it to be good but that isn't my top priority. I enjoyed TFTBL a lot so tell tale games are perfectly fine. | Pre Sequel legendary drop rate Posted: 28 May 2021 01:01 AM PDT I'm playing through the Borderlands series for the first time. Just doing one playthrough of each to begin with, and then I'll go back to them when I've completed the series. Anyway, really enjoyed BL1, got tons of legendaries during my playthrough but I'm level 30 now on TPS, about to start The Beginning of The End, I've killed Iwajira about 10 times at least and I've still only received two legendaries thus far, Excalibastard and the Shooting Star (three times). I have yet to get any legendary drop from Iwajira or any of the respawning bosses. Is this common, or am I missing something? [link] [comments] |
