| Question about which version of Borderlands 3 to buy Posted: 15 May 2021 04:17 PM PDT I am finally going to get Borderlands 3 after thoroughly enjoying 1 and 2. I just don't know which version to get. I have a Xbox 1 (original, not S) and a PS4 Pro. I know that there were a bunch of technical issues when it first came out and I can't find any recent recommendations now that everything is patched and so on. I don't really intend to play online. Only single player or split screen with my wife. So what does the community suggest? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 15 May 2021 02:09 PM PDT After hundreds of hours playing the original, I finally decided to give BL2 a go. I have already died so much more than I ever remember at the start of the original, I am forever out of ammo, and I feel like the level of the enemies starting is much higher than mine. On top of that, it feels like continually playing an underdome level, both in terms of enemy respawn speed and amount of enemies, it's like every single enemy class gathers around you like the horde. It feels relentless and frankly I am not having any fun. Is there a steep level curve at the start, or is the whole game fast-paced and hard? Or, do I just suck at it? Posted: 15 May 2021 07:12 PM PDT I just beat the Gold Golem in Tiny Tina's Dragon Keep dlc for the story and have immediately started farming him for shock and corrosive pistols. I have already ran through the entire dungeon a dozen times (Yes, I know about the grenade jump shortcut but for whatever reason, none of the rocket launchers I have with me work. Grenades don't work for me either and yes, I unequipped my grenade mod before attempting the shortcut) and he has not dropped a single legendary! Apparently, the Gold Golem has an "increased" chance of dropping 3 legendary guns, but he hasn't dropped a single legendary in the dozens of times I have killed him (I wait for him to jump off the platform and into the arena to avoid any legendaries falling into the lava). I had better luck with infinity pistols when I was farming Doc Mercy in the beginning of the game (he dropped a lot of infinities for me). I farmed Doc Mercy at the beginning of the game thinking he dropped infinity pistols in every element, but somepony on this reddit told me that corrosive and shock pistols don't drop at low levels. I'm not kidding when I say that the mimics I fight along the way to the Gold Golem have more useful drops than anything I have ever gotten farming him. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 15 May 2021 06:10 PM PDT I recently finished levelling Zane for my second vault hunter, I got a bit bored of the monarch fl4k build so I wanted to try somthing new. So far I can't seem to find any builds (apart for moxsys cool runnings) that come close to touching the fl4k build for damage, the chain zane build seems to be really weak for anything other than weak mobs, I've tried mixing and matching but can't seem to find anything that can kill bosses effectively. For reference I tend to play and 2 player with a friend who plays moze. (side note, moze seems substantially better than all other VHs) And I can't even slightly keep up... If someone could sugggest a build/ what is essential to make Zane work bc I am clearly missing something. [link] [comments] |

| Borderlands 3 stopping back mouse key use Posted: 15 May 2021 07:47 AM PDT Yesterday i had set my grenade key to my back mouse key (i think the mouse 4 button) and today it wouldnt work, and i realized it wouldnt work on anything until i had closed the game.
