| Playing Through The Story Is A Lot Easier Than At Release Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:19 PM PDT I was a day 1 player and for whatever reason, I stopped playing shortly after the 1st Bloody Harvest Event. I picked the game back up earlier this week as a friend had recently got the game and wanted to play through it together because we hadn't played a game together for a while. We just blasted through the story without having any trouble at all, especially the bosses. As soon as Mayhem was unlocked, it was a completely different game, even on Mayhem 1. I told my friend that the game was a lot easier and he said that maybe because Legendaries were dropping quite frequently and I knew what I was doing with building a character, that it could be easy for that reason. I pointed out that he didn't know what he was doing and he was doing just as well as I was. I don't think either of us died once during the playthrough. Maybe it was just in my head and Legendaries are more powerful and more frequent than what they used to be. So I started a solo run with Moze, a character I don't know how to build and only using White gear. I've skipped all side quests and just rushed the story. It does feel more like the game did at release, and even though I'm under levelled, it's still not as difficult as it was then. Just defeated Traunt at Athenas. I did get downed a couple of times, but still did it 1st attempt. I struggled throughout the story at release, even though I was using Flak (remember Flak was OP compared to the other VHs at release) and I was always over levelled as I was doing all side quests and collecting everything as I went. I remember Killa Volt kicking my ass, taking 3 or 4 attempts to beat Traunt, vault bosses being a struggle, everyone complaining about how difficult Billy was, even though that was 1 fight I didn't struggle with, needing broken grenades to help farm bosses a lot quicker at end game etc. I remember being level 45 when I defeated Tyreen because of doing everything and even though I was over levelled, still struggled to defeat her, but she was less of a struggle than what Troy was. Does anyone know why it's so easy? I feel sorry for people just picking up the game, because they're going to be in for a shock when they finish the story and get their asses handed to them as soon as Mayhem is turned on. Also, if you want a gun that just deletes things off your screen immediately, especially if using Phasegrasp Amara, get the Butcher. Seen a lot of people talk about guns that got buffed recently, but not seen anyone, even youtube videos, talk about the Butcher. Out of all the guns I've tried on the playthrough with my friend, the Butcher has easily been the best weapon I've used, even when it was level 17 and wiping out level 35 mobs. Is she still viable in solo? 2) Is she stronger in the early stages of the game compared to someone like sal? 3) How does she do in OP levels compared to something like sal? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:17 PM PDT (BORDERLANDS 2) As the title states, since the game is fairly old and i just started playing, i was wondering if sal or maya has ever recived any nerfs or buffs. I was told maya got one of her skill tree ability cloud kill buffed? Is this true? Also sal is considered "the best" character due to his immense money shot skill and synergy with his other skills. Has he been nerfed before? Or has he been untouched? Is there any where to see patch notes if there is any? Thanks [link] [comments] |
| Question about performance on BL3 Posted: 16 Jul 2021 08:19 PM PDT Hey guys so recently I just bought a PC because it was on sale ( still not a great PC) and was curious about how it would run BL3 Everything is slightly above the recommended specs except for the CPU which is slightly above minimum. I was curious if anyway who has specs close to the recommended could let me know how many frames you average and at what texture quality ( as in Low or High ) As long as it runs better than the PS4 I'll be happy Thanks in advance ! | How can I prevent crashes on the Handsome collection (ps5)? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 07:24 PM PDT Over the time I've been playing the handsome collection on the ps5 moving over from Ps4 I've noticed a large increase on the crashes I've been getting, three of which corrupting characters that I've put days into. Today I had the third corruption, but I managed to get this one back by using the character download in the cross save thing. Is there anything I can do to help prevent these crashes? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 10:00 AM PDT Hey guys, potentially stupid question here: I've been getting my boy into Borderlands (because I'm a bad father) and he insisted on starting with the first game. Thing is, we can't figure out how he can keep a character. We only have one PS+ account, and it seems like you HAVE to have a PS+ account in order to save a character. EXAAAAAAAAMPLE: I created a character, played it to get to Fyrestone, logged out, then let him create a character on my profile. He logged out for dinner and chores 'n' such after likewise getting to Fyrestone, then we both got on my account, thinking it'd have both characters available for him to pick HIS when we logged on. Thing is, it forces him to log in using HIS account (which does not have the subscription,) it wouldn't let him use mine (this part was obvious I guess,) and since he doesn't have PS+ it wouldn't let him keep a persistent character. How do we boooooth get to play, keeping characters for a playthrough, without having to have a second subscription? It seems like I'm missing something either super-simple, or the game just wants to be finnicky about forcing PS+ subs. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |

I've been thinking recently and I have a question and would like to see what the community thinks about this. Is BL3 finished? We got a new level cap and a great end game (now that dlc 6 has come and gone), but it seems like not much is going on. I really like the game and hope they add even more, but I just don't see it happening.
