No change has been made to the gameplay of the gun, only the text has been removed.
WEAPON FIXESTediore E-Tech Shotguns were set to the wrong value and were corrected, resulting in a damage increase for all Tediore E-Tech Shotguns.

Dear Gearbox: Please add color blind filters in the menu, and/or "sort by rarity". Posted: 31 Oct 2019 03:30 PM PDT I can't speak for every color blind person, but it's damn near impossible for me to tell uncommons apart from legendaries other than going to each one individually and looking for flavor text. On the field there is at least the sound effect and much more graphical effects when a legendary shows up, but for inventory it's not fun. Sorting by rarity would also be a helpful solution. Can we please get Skill Tree Loadouts? Posted: 31 Oct 2019 11:20 AM PDT TL:DR; Please add skill tree/build loadouts to the game, to allow quicker/more convenient re-speccing of the skill tree for different content. It's becoming a bit of a hassle for me to go to the respec station, and manually put in every single skill point from memory depending on what content I'm doing, EVERY TIME. This is partly because I play on more than one character, and partly because if there is 1 build that can "do everything", I don't know about it, nor would I want to use it. For example, I started the game with Fl4k, with the intention of making him a boss killing machine, but after all his nerfs that build is god awful at mobbing. If I want to be AT ALL useful in a group, I have to switch to a mobbing build, and doing this every single play session is pretty annoying. Some people probably only play 1 character, or have a build thats good at everything and don't have this issue, but I do, and I'm sure others would appreciate a way to quickly switch builds or at least skill points. The number one issue with this game is still performance. Posted: 31 Oct 2019 04:24 PM PDT Borderlands is kind of a strange game to benchmark, because the performance varies vastly from someone who's level 25 playing through the campaign is going to have much smoother frame rates than someone who's level 50 with a high DPS build. I knew this would happen because of the nature of the series, and it was present in borderlands 2, particularly with the implementation of physx and my 980Ti. Albeit nowhere near as bad. As time goes on, players are going to continue to level up, and the performance issues will become more apparent. As fun as it is, circle of slaughter gets nearly unplayable for me towards the later rounds. [link] [comments] |

I love the goliath enemies in BL are some of my favorites in the series and I'd love to see a playable character like that. Like imagine the melee capstone for the goliath is simply called GODliath which increases your level the more enemies you kill maxing out at like 5 levels above the cap or something. See the bottom for the TL:DR. Skills that are conditional in some way will have their values adjusted to my best estimate of their actual value and be marked with a (C). Examples include Zane's "Playing Dirty" and Moze's "Click, Click" ZaneClone Tree: 79% Damage, 18% Shock Damage. 211% DPS Requirements: Kill Skill, Two Action Skills Active, Not being targeted. Drone Tree: 28% Damage, 25% Fire Rate, 50% chance for an additional pellet for five shots.(C) ~170% DPS Requirements: Two Kill Skills, Must be moving. Part of bonus only lasts for 5 shots following a kill. Shield Tree 30% Damage, 25% Damage. 163% DPS Requirements: Barrier must be active and on the ground, Shield must be active. Net ResultUsing the two strongest damage-dealing trees, Zane can achieve 305% DPS MozeShield of Retribution 15% Fire Damage, 10% Fire Damage, 185% Damage, -7.5% Fire Rate. 333% DPS Requirements: Three Stacks of Drowning in Brass and Phalanx Doctrine. 1 Health. For example, she can get a 35% chance to apply a different random status effect to any target she already applied one status effect to. This ability is unquestionably powerful, but exactly how powerful is very difficult to decypher. Other skills with similar difficulties include: Ties That Bind Indiscriminate Anima Wildfire Catharsis Remnant From Rest I really tried for a bit, but I just couldn't put it together in any meaningful manner. As a side note, I imagine this may be why Amara has been relatively free of tweaks; she's so confusing, I doubt they even know what to tweak. How Broken would invulnerable pet skills be? Posted: 31 Oct 2019 06:49 PM PDT Ignoring Fl4k's pets that more often then just become stat boosts, how broken would making Zane and Moze's pets invulnerable be? I haven't played Moze much but I've seen how large the cooldown it'd nice to have some of that badass mach fantasy even if it's a net damage loss. Regarding clone Zane though, he is absolutely useless since he does not know how to aim, giving him a rocket launcher doesn't solve the issue since in a tight space he'll kill himself and whenver he does it doesn't feel like I missplayed with the clone, it feels like "Oh their's a pool on the ground and their goes a 20 second cooldown and the 3 grenades I used to give him health". As a side note Zane just doesn't have a purpose, he has no niche. He's not the pet class, his ability spam is lackluster, and his mobbing is meh. There's not a single thing Zane can do that even compares. Pardon the rant I finished the game over the weekend (that ending was just rushed and wasted) and endgame and multiplayer just doesn't feel fun for my operator boy. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Oct 2019 01:18 PM PDT So I haven't played in awhile, I get back into it a couple days ago, and ghosts keep spawning out of enemies. Not a huge issue, but it's really inconvenient. They seem like an unnecessary hurdle towards getting into any sort of groove killing enemies. They're so frequent, and all they really do is fuck with my aiming. So I have to focus the ghosts or I can't deal with the mob enemies, but as soon as I deal with the mob enemies, more ghosts spawn, and as soon as I deal with the mob enemies, they spawn more ghosts! They also don't register as enemies until like half a second, so I'm just waiting around to deal with this nuisance before I can keep going. The regular ghosts don't do a lot of damage, but they stop shields from regenerating, and they phase through walls so you can't avoid them without killing them or running around. Either way, you risk getting shot by other enemies. There's no real way to consistently regenerate shield. "But dvltonwillivms, you could just use the terror weapons to deal with all this". I don't want to, my setup is exactly how I like it. Don't force me to use equipment I don't like, to deal with enemies I didn't like in the first place. This whole system makes things like Trials of Supremacy incredibly hard. If you enjoy the event, I'm not trying to say you're wrong or anything, but as far as I've been able to tell, not very many players do. I don't enjoy having to balance progress on Bloody Harvest with base gameplay. If I wanted to attempt to go for the challenges, I wish there was an option for it, not forced into it. I'm not sure what the timetable for this event is, so if it's coming to a close soon, I hope that Gearbox at least implements some sort of on/off feature in similar events. Sorry for the rant. My first thought is a Ghostbusters shout out, but is that all there is to it? Has anyone managed to drag them together to see if they interact? We tried a couple times but they seemed to be spaced out and walled off from each other. If you brought them together and a giant marshmallow badass came out afterwards, I would slime myself. Fl4k's Two F4ng And How it Works. Posted: 31 Oct 2019 10:50 AM PDT To those replying as to how my first results are incorrect, you'd be right, and I edited it already under the testing results, to correctly explain the actual effect of the gun. For those who are confused as to what the description means for Fl4k's Two F4ng skill...The skill reads "Fl4k has a chance to fire an extra projectile per shot". This can be interpreted in two ways. Each time fl4k fires a weapon he has a chance to fire one extra projectile, which is simple enough. Although the way it's worded possibly implies that each shot (meaning every individual projectile) has a chance to duplicate itself. My TheoryIf this is true it would mean that a weapon that shoots multiple projectiles like say x2 has a chance to duplicate both of those projectiles individually to up to x4. This isn't to say all of them will be duplicated, as both of those shots are separate entities meaning it's possible none of them will duplicate if Two F4ng procs or only one of them will duplicate. TestingI tested this with an Arctic Nighthawkin due to the version I had currently having a x2 modifier, thus making it easier to distinguish whether or not the skill proc'd. To see if it was working the way I believed it would I put the game into photo mode every time I initiated ONE shot from the weapon being sure that I only used one ammo from the clip after seeing whether or not the bullet created 3 or more projectiles. after testing for a few minutes I found that Edit* I believe it only duplicates one of the projectiles with every shot regardless of the quantity of projectiles it provides after testing with other weapons. My first test with the night hawkin was likely due to the red text effect it provided which is sad to say, but I still recommend using this skill due to the extra damage it provides. In most senarios it'll likely be a 10% damage buff or greater depending on the weapon and how high or low the x0 modifier is, however it'll likely be stronger with high damage single projectile fired weapons like sniper rifles. Final AnalysisI know this is a lot for just one skill but i'm sure there are those like me who appreciated the in-depth examination of this skill, especially if you're trying to maximize dps on Mayhem 3. Besides my little after remark I would highly recommend using this skill in your build if you're going down the Hunter Tree regardless of what kind of weapon you're using, even if it doesn't work as I (and possibly others) originally believed. He hadn't, so I 3d printed this, and we painted it for him on the 28th. My marauder mask is the same model printed slightly bigger, and the fabric was cut and sewn in about 5 hours. Both masks have lenses from busted sunglasses superglued on the inside of the eyepieces. I know they're white rarity items, but we are so damn proud of them. [link] [comments] |

The only thing I can think of is that OPC travels further? Also, perhaps when it crits, it ricochets being a Jakob. Now only to Hellwalker, this also deals less damage than MK. The bullets spread unlike MK or OPC, so if you are further then it won't deal fatal damage to each enemy per blow. Perhaps you pick it over MK when you need to do elementary damage and over OPC when you need to do more damage by being extremely close to the enemies. [link] [comments] |
