| Posted: 21 Feb 2022 04:30 PM PST I just finished the main story on Borderlands 3, unlocked Mayhem Mode, and i'm absolutely ready to farm my way up to level 72, make the most overpowered Moze build possible, and start annihilating anything that gets in my path during True Vault Hunter mode. The game so far has been a bit too easy, my mech just tanked everything and my nukes could level a fucking town if thrown correctly, but in Mayhem mode i believe i'll have to be more prepared, so i should probably find a good farming spot, higher my Mayhem level to 11 or so, and get to level 72 as fast as i can, picking any legendary weapons i can put my hands on in the process. So, any effective place i can farm? Every video i found was either too old or required a DLC. I can't trust old farming methods will work, and i don't have the money for the DLC's. Posted: 22 Feb 2022 12:27 PM PST So I did all the regular DLC in BL2 but I forgot there is a separate one that didn't come with 'The Handsome Collection'. I'm playing as Athena and I'm maybe an hour into the game, but I don't understand when the cutscene from the beginning where Lilith is questioning Athena. I want to make a "wild guess" and say that's because Athena is still telling the story and I'll understand what lead up to that cut scene at the end. But at the same time I'm thinking maybe I would understand if I played 'Lilith's Fight for Sanctuary'. When does the Lilith DLC take place within BL2? Before or after you beat Jack? I'm going to play that DLC anyway I'm just waiting for it to download but do you think I should just put TPS until after I finish LFFS? Or it doesn't matter? [link] [comments] |

| Are Single-Element builds good? Posted: 22 Feb 2022 11:34 AM PST I noticed most characters in the game have at least one of their main builds consisting on one element. FL4K is radiation focused on Master Builds and fire focused on Hunter builds, a bunch of Zane's skills consist on ice, and with Moze is nearly impossible to avoid fire damage (her being my character in this case), with Amara being the only one who can basically use whatever damage type the situation demands. I'm trying really hard to avoid that kind of stuff, since i feel like that would make me kinda useless. My fire damage won't do shit to a shielded or armored enemy, and i even dropped Zane at the start of the game because i felt i would struggle if i focused on ice damage, but then it got me thinking... is that really right? I mean... can a pyro Moze or a cryo Zane become powerful enought to overcome damage resistences? Am i being a bit dumb? I was avoiding it based on my experiences with Borderlands 2, in which, at higher levels, you REALLY couldn't just focus on just one element, but i dunno, maybe it doesn't apply so strongly here, the Cloudkill SMG was killing shielded enemies quite easilly in the mid-game, even if it was corrosive, so... could someone help me with that matter? When I check the Xbox store I see: Borderlands Legendary Collection - $20 I want the best, most modern, highest FPS version. I'm wary of the 360 version, because it may just be running the emulated 360 version, maybe upscaled to 1080p? Both say they're designed for the Series X/S, but I don't know what that means if the box art is the 360 version. I'm only really interested in BL2, so the other games in the legendary pack don't really interest me. I wish I could get the "ultimate edition" that's on Steam for $8 right now, but that doesn't appear to be on Xbox? What is the best version of Borderlands 2 to pick up for Xbox? Update: Thanks for clarification everyone. The Legendary Collection contains the updated versions best for Series X/S and includes all the DLC so that's what I went with. | Need help on guardian take down for Moze Posted: 21 Feb 2022 06:46 AM PST I'm currently running this build: mitosis moze and can't seem to beat the guardian take down I use a backburnder, plague bearer, soul render, gargoyle, and flipper; along with the infernal wish, bloodletter, and a snowdrift deathless, I can't seem to kill the actual guardians fast enough that the crystals explode and can't get past the first area any help would be appreciated I still wanna run a splash damage build too. Any and all build/set up recommendations welcome! UPDATE: after playing around with gear(mainly trying other guns than rocket launchers) I have been able to beat the taken down although difficult 1st run it was doable with a plasma coil and gargoyle. Maybe make it an optional setting or have it scale "to a point" as in quests have a level range instead of a set level and all the enemies scale to what level you started the quest on [link] [comments] |

| Borderlands 3 Character transfer Posted: 21 Feb 2022 02:13 PM PST I currently have both the ps5 and ps4 version of the game downloaded on my ps5. I go on the ps4 version. Select my level 70 character. Upload save. Open ps5 version, when I press download save, it says download failed. I tried doing this about 5 times before trying to transfer another level 17 character I have. That worked first time. Any ideas why I can't do it for this specific character. Is it a case that I need to download all dlc for both versions instead of just ps5 as the character that won't transfer has dlc weapons and the one that does transfer doesn't have any dlc weapons. Posted: 22 Feb 2022 06:22 AM PST I have thousands of hours in bl2 and I've played 3 a little bit and I finally did a legit playthrough of the pre sequel where I actually pay attention to the story and I think his actions in bl2 are justified and I wish he would've won, I really liked Lilith before but now I don't, I think Lilith is the only truly bad character, moxxi wasn't really good either but Lilith was just worse, I still think Roland, Mordecai, and brick are good, I haven't played the first game yet so maybe that will change my veiws but as far as I know Jack isn't really in the first game, lilith isn't that bad in the third one but I feel like she doesn't deserve the spot as leader and someone like Maya should have been it, this is just my opinion and observations but idk [link] [comments] |

When I played on BL2 i was already a beast with guns and gear but didn't really play it through thoroughly. So seeing as I am starting fresh, level 1 with no gear I could use a coop buddy to make it more enjoyable. Some years ago I stopped playing it because of a very annoying bug. I kept losing randomly all the items that I had in my inventory, this happened every few games. It was very frustrating which made farming pretty pointless to me. I googled the issue, but I couldn't find much about it. Am or was I the only one with this weird bug? And is it fixed?
